Stopped by Chimmelier’s new Melrose location and tried a few things. We got the Shrimp Toast, K-Chicken Burger, K-Wings, Nurungji Tongdak (Whole Chicken), and Kimchi Fried Rice. The K-Chicken Burger was probably my favorite — really solid flavor with the perfect amount of kick. The Nurungji Tongdak was also really good; they’re definitely more known for the fried chicken, but the whole rotisserie chicken held up. Wings and shrimp toast were solid too, nothing over the top, just good fried chicken and snacks. The kimchi fried rice rounded things out nicely. Overall, if you like Korean fried chicken, it’s worth checking out — Melrose location makes it easy without having to head to K-Town.

Korean beets and wine, valet after 5 pm and they give you $5 off! I park in the neighborhood before 8 pm free.

I love this place. I was first introduced to them when I visited their location in Koreatown. The chicken and the shrimp toast were delicious. When I heard they opened a location on Melrose I was super excited. Now one of my favorite dishes is the Kimchi fried rice. Really delicious. The honey chicken is my other go to dish. I always take it to go, but they do have interior seating and a couple of tables on the sidewalk outside their door. They finally got their liquor license which is a nice addition.
The Koreatown location's quality has declined a little in recent months, but this location is fantastic. I've been here twice to order OMFG popcorn chicken, buldak ramen, and a few street dishes. Love it here and will continue coming back no matter what.

The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and you can tell the kitchen is well maintained, which always speaks volumes about a place.
The interior gives you this warm, inviting feeling that’s honestly gorgeous. There’s an old school throwback energy here that just works. The food is amazing good, especially the chicken. It’s the kind of spot where you want to stay a little longer, soak it all in, and definitely come back. If you haven’t checked out Chimmelier yet, you need to add it to your list.

Nice feeling when youre eating soul food, while hearing Soul music in the backround.
Scrumptious! Excellent, friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful customer service! Great vibes inside; colorful not stale decor and nice tunes on the speakers to enjoy if dining in. Now onto the food, ordered the chicken burger with fries and thoroughly handled that combo like the most pleasant self inflicted culinary light-work one could give their self. Top note: chicken was so moist and juicy, it was almost fluffy..and the seasoning was more savory & sweet forward with a tiny bit of spice in rear. Fried had similar seasoning so there wasn't any contrast but came with dipping sauces so that allowed for some variety. Great experience and would surely revisit.

The neighborhood doesn’t need another bland chain restaurant serving up mediocre fast food.
Everything was expensive and lacked real flavor; from the soggy kimchi “fried” rice, to the nachos with tiny broken tortillas and crappy nacho cheese, and the uninspired fried chicken sandwich.
The staff were great though.

THE BEST Korean fried chicken I've ever had!! Perfectly crunchy, fresh and just high quality! The tteokbokki was perfectly made. The fries were really good and the sauces were amazing. I recommend this place highly and it’s somewhere I will return to frequently. The service and staff are EXCEPTIONAL!!
