Really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back to try their coffee. The only downside was that my husband ordered avocado toast but was told they were out—yet, not long after, we saw someone who arrived after us get served the same dish. That was a bit odd.

The breakfast sandwiches are great! Messy but great. Coffee is mid but there's free parking and plenty of space. But the decor feels a bit of a mish mash.

Chimney used to be my go-to spot. They have a really good breakfast sandwich. Even when the prices went up here, I still would come for the sandwiches and French toast. However, recently I feel the service and quality has declined. Just stopped in for a pastry and matcha today, the croissant and muffin me and my partner received were literally frozen on the inside. I had to wait in line to ask to have them heated up because they were inedible. After waiting, heating, receiving them again, eating them (still cold btw) we still hadn't even received our drinks. There was no sense of urgency or apology for the extensive wait time and frozen food. While I wish I could say this was a one-off thing, I've noticed the service being poor the last 2-3 times I've gone, this time just may have been my last visit unfortunately.
I think that was the single best chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten.
[Seems handicapped-accessible, so not sure why google says its not]

Went after an even it was so it was super super busy. Props to the staff held it together. People can get cranky when they are hungry and they did such a good job and keeping the flow going. They helped each other out and checked in with each other, I don’t know who the supervisor is but wow u got a good team. Our mistake was not ordering ahead. Next time, bc we will be back. Thank you

The breakfast sandwiches are sooooo fire. Intense eating experience
The food is good! The coffee is great! Prices are high but typical for LA. My sandwich was very filling! Would absolutely come back and try other things. Cute place to sit and hang out with friends while sipping on coffee. The service is wonderful, everyone there was so nice and kind.
Parking is a small lot that’s also for LAX-C market and other stores. But it’s free. Spaces are tight and they cut off the exit of a one way narrow section so to exit you have to turn back around going the wrong way technically and trying to maneuver past oncoming cars to exit.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you’re looking for a chill spot in Chinatown to start your day, THIS is the place! Picture this: morning coffee ☕ in one hand, laptop in the other, and a record player spinning sweet tunes in the background 🎶. It's got the vibes for days! The crew here? Straight-up legends 👑—super friendly and more than happy to help you pick the perfect breakfast combo.
Now, let's talk food. I went for the breakfast burrito 🌯 because, honestly, you can't go wrong with a classic. My girlfriend tried the "Candy B.E.A" Sandwich with Tamarind Candy Bacon 🥓, and let me tell you, that thing was a flavor bomb 💥! Whoever thought of putting tamarind and bacon together deserves a medal 🥇.
It’s the kind of place where you can chill, get some work done 💻, and just enjoy the morning vibe. Plus, it’s Chinatown, so you know the energy is on point. Can’t wait to swing by again when I’m in the area!

Chimney is a lovely little cafe close to my apartment. I typically go there to meet up with friends. It’s a little gem. Though I usually only get coffee, which is very tasty, the food looks amazing.

Lovely coffee shop a bit expensive but average for LA. Swamp drink (matcha and chai) was very good ! Expect to pay 6-8 for a drink. Not very crowded at lunch, a few outlets.
Lots of activity in the parking lot. Inside, no music so a good place if you don’t mind a bit of quiet !
Breakfast sandwich was very good, a bit hard to eat as the egg kept slipping from the buns (double egg, scrambled and fried).
Parking: Lot shared with the market don’t park near the market too much trucks coming in and out. Park in front of the shop

If you go to this place TRY THE FRENCH TOAST!!! You will not regret it, I tried it when I was pregnant a year ago and have been craving it so often ever since. It’s prepared with 3 huge thick Brioche breads and it comes with the classic syrup and butter! I’ve been ordering through Uber eats every few months and today I decided to add heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to my blender to put it on top- CHEFS KISS! I added some strawberries too and it just made it even better!! You can’t find French toast this good anywhere in LA (trust me I’ve searched!). Needless to say, this place better stay in business forever!! The portions are huge, it’s definitely worth your money!
