This place is exactly like Ono Hawaiian bbq . This was my first time there the food was so amazing a man runs it by himself he was the sweetest :) . If you're in the Los Angeles area please support family owned !

The the greatest place but the food is good never had a problem with him I know what I want and I order it but the guy is the only person working here by himself so give him a break got food here 3 times very affordable look like a lot of people sleeping on him the business never crowded but his food amazing for got what I paid I think 13 don’t remember but it’s good

Delicious food at a delicious price. Chicken teriyaki and spam musubi never disappoint. Mr Chin is a one man teriyaki machine who really deserves a day off but I don’t think he’s ever taken the liberty. A neighborhood gem.

Absolute gem of a spot. It's a one man show (owner is so nice) but the prices are so cheap for how much food you get (less than $10 for an insane combo plate). Food takes some time but always comes out hot and good. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Good food made with love from Chin. This place is a hole in the wall and might turn some away but the food and prices are spot on. I asked for a few customizations (all rice, no mac) and those were either overlooked or not communicated properly but the food was still tasty and the prices can't be beat. Worth a try if you're craving some good teriyaki
Such a hidden gem!! The food is absolutely delicious here, I definitely recommend. The Katsu chicken is so crispy and every meal comes out super hot.

Protect this place at all costs. Chin's Hawaiian is a national treasure. To the few people giving this place less than 5 stars, sorry this place isn't your typical gentrified, and overpriced establishment that doesn't satisfy your privileged standards. The chef is a sweet man that gave my girlfriend and I a wonderful experience. He was very friendly and made our food on the spot and quick! The food was amazing and always packed full for seconds (especially for the price). I loved the jazz station he put on for ambiance as well, always good to listen to some classics. Definitely going to be coming back here again and again. I will make it my life mission to ensure that this establishment outlives not only me, but my grandchildren and their grandchildren after them.
