I lived in Cali as a little girl. Took a trip back and hands down these are the best tacos I’ve ever had. I now live in Maryland and while I’ve found good spots, when anyone brings up street tacos I bring up this truck no matter what state I’m in. Love supporting a small business where I know my dollar is appreciated. Their team works hard, and it shows in the quality of service and food. Can’t wait to move back to Cali soon so I can have them when I please :)
It’s a taco truck, what do you do when it’s 1am and you get munchies? You come to a taco truck, the prices are reasonable, the food is fine, the area is not so great, but they do have parking and seating. The truck is located inside the gas station which is nice cause its easy to get to, (no having to park on the curb). The night we went it was pretty busy, and there was two drunk guys fighting , which nothing new for us here in LA. They ran out of limes though, no biggie...
I drunk guy kept (not an employee of chiquis) bothering my older son asking him some money several times even after he told him to get lost .Not sure if it was time of day or timing of weekday wait it was Monday night...not surprised. But food was very good and quick too..
