When the chicken is fresh, it is good. The staff is nice every time I go there. The location is subjective because it's a staple in the neighborhood and on busy Western and Jefferson.
I was expecting the chicken I find @ various southern restaurants stops... was not quite that... this location was more like a contender for Popeye's. Not bad, but the rest stop Church's taste like a level or 2 below Raising Cane's
Food taste great, it's Church's after all. Was disappointed that they had no wings, only drumsticks.
The workers there look like they work hard, but it seems like they don't want to be there and I can hardly blame them because the management clearly doesn't care about the place. It's totally run down and in need of a deep clean and and a modern remodel. This building seems like it hasn't gotten either since 1987.
