Came out of my way to hit Chuys cause the tacos are amazing, sat outside for 10 minutes at 12 pm on a Thursday and there was no sign of life. Not sure if the hours are off

Was so excited to try ??♀️My 10-yr old daughter inhaled the shredded beef quesadilla.Salsas we’re good. Very mild though.

Had tacos de papa (potato) and carne deshebrada (shredded beef), they were very good. Crunchy fresh loaded tacos with some salsa hit the spot. I ordered the two taco combo with rice and beans. The rice and beans were also good, but a bit too much salt for my taste that I couldn't finish them. They also only had bottled drinks vs aguas frescas that would compliment the tacos.

I got the chorizo bean and cheese burrito. It didn't have any actual pork chorizo. It tastes mostly like the refried beans with maybe a little chorizo flavor. Not what I was expecting at all
This is our go to spot in LA. We will drive just for the food. The a absolute best! Potato tacos, beef!!!!!! The warm hot sauce!!!! As a matter of fact we’re in the way to van nuys location now from Bakersfield ❤️

The potato taco is the truttttttth! Skip the soyrizo burrito and go straight for the potatoes tacos. So delicious.Update:It's the pickled onions , spicy salsa combo that's sets it off.My recommendation: ask for your potatoes extra crispy and light cheese.

This place is definitely food cost over customer satisfaction. The value taco at del taco has more meat. Most rolled tacos have more meat than the tacos here. Not worth the price they charge. Chuy's the home of the 1/4 ounce taco. This is my first and last time here. If they put meat on the taco it would have been five star. Instead I left feeling cheated.
