Food was great. The waitress was amazing. Unfortunately the entire reason we chose this venue for our anniversary was so that we could see the band. We could have eaten anywhere in the surrounding area. We were first sat on the bottom floor in the very back behind a huge wooden pillar. It was close to the bar ,loud and anything but romantic. I could eat anywhere for 200.00.. I asked to be moved, and they ended up seating us upstairs against the wall. Again- no view of the band. I made these reservations over a month ago.@ in a half ago..The whole trip was planned around the night at the Cicada. I will not go back because of this and wont recommend this to our friends. It ruined our whole night!

Beautiful restaurant, elegant and upscale.... A wonderful evening of big band music! Definitely a classy night out and flashback to the 1930's. Food was excellent as well as the service. A bottle of wine for the table although my cousin had a martini that was incredible! Looking forward to experiencing another show....

Ambiance, ambiance, ambiance, the space is amazing and is like going back in time while taking the journey with some of the best performers in the business. The food is good and VERY surprising to me was the lacking in cockatiel quality both upstairs and down. I would highly recommend visiting the Cicada Club!

This was a fantastic experience on every level. It was like being in a great 40's supper club with great food, service and music. Fun dancing and ambience... don't miss this place!

Venue is beautiful and the music was fun. Cocktails were well executed. The compliments, however, unfortunately end there. Service was slow and distracted, even though there weren't that many occupied tables — and the meal was both pricey and not very good. Cool one-time experience but don't anticipate we'll be back.

It was an amazing experience! The band was amazing, Pepper Moons. I felt like I was back in time. Food was ok, service not the best, but ok. I will make this a stop when I travel through LA.

I absolutely love this restaurant/venue. I am a fan of art deco and the ambiance of this place makes me feel like I'm back in time. It's romantic and elegant. The service on Valentine's Day was great, the band was lively and talented, and the audience was fun! The only complaint that I had was about the food. It wasn't bad. It was just okay. Hopefully, the restaurant can up its quality in the menu department.

We love the iconic art deco space, of course. The staff was uniformly welcoming and efficient, the food delicious, and the music terrific. Comfortable dance floor, lively but not so packed as to be unmanageable. The perfect Valentine's Day date for all ages and relationships!

They charge each person 30 dollars just to get in. The pre fix menu is $90 but the food is only worth about $60 dollars. Once you sit down you can keep your table the rest of the night. Since this limits the amount or food orders they overcharge to make up the revenue . The band is fantastic and the vibes and ambience are amazing. I would recommend this place as a one time experience. I wouldnt recommend this place for regular dining.

It was a great experience. Wiseguys and big machine band is awesome. We are so exited to dance to live band ((full band) nice size of dance floor. Food and service was amazing. Services was excellent, waiter were so attentive. Of course, the beautiful 1920 built historical building brig you back to World War II time zone. Definitely will go back.
