I WILL NOT be back here anymore !!! Went to to pick up my online order, empty place with only 1 middle aged Bangladeshi manager or owner sitting there who asked my name for the pickup then came back from the kitchen w/ the food and asked me to confirm that it's my order with the app in a very rude & unpleasant way! Confirmed it and left that Gloomy place immediately !!!I actually was here with my family last year and had a nice time with friendly staff so really disappointed to see someone running this place with that kind of attitude !!! Btw, if you folks are into delicious Indian food with Super Nice staff then I recommend Star of India on 730 Vine Street. FYI, the Buy1Get1 Dal Tadka I got was basically 1 full portion of what I get from most of the Indian places and split them into 2 separate boxes so that wasn't worth it either!

Again used white flour for Aloo Paratha even after telling me they will improve. Don't you guys know the difference between Wheat Flour and White Flour? Gave me Aloo Naan instead of Aloo Paratha. And its sweet intead of masala. Do u put sugar in potatoes?

The food is delicious, infact differently delicious. The same Indian dishes taste differently spiced at this restaurant. Service is very friendly yet professional. The place although I find it a little shady with all those colors combos but it's upto the individual's choice. Overall a good restaurant. Also, home delivery is available directly from the restaurant in nearby areas. That's the best point.

CAUTION! Stay away from this place. There has clearly been a change of chefs or management in the last few months. We used to order from this place regularly. Used to be one of the best Indian restaurants around. The food we had delivered tonight was completely different. Saag paneer was just cream and cinnamon. I've never tasted strong cinnamon in Saag Paneer before. Seafood Korma was just one note creamy nothingness. The naan was bready and not like a proper naan. Now I've read all the other recent reviews and I see what's happening. Seems like a lot of people have gotten or feared getting food poisoning from dishes tasting off or having mold on them. Scary. I hope we are okay tonight. Avoid. Not the place it used to be which is too bad.

This place used to be really really good. There used to be so much depth of flavor to their food, and now their dishes are so lackluster. I guess the new management doesn't care about serving good quality food. It feels like they're doing the bare minimum here now. The food has absolutely no resemblance to what it USED to be. So disappointing. And now I know it's not just me, because most of the most recent reviews are saying the same thing. Most of these recent reviewers said they got sick after eating here. PLEASE don't risk eating here. Food poisoning is not worth it!

I feel sorry to pen it down.We had the worst experience in LA. It turned out to be an absolute disappointment.First, it's an overly hyped place. The restaurant's smell was unpleasant and we were provided with unclean glasses and plates that were covered in spots. In fact, we could smell onion while we sipped water. After the visit, three of us ended up with throat infection.Secondly, in discussing the order, the girl who took it was good by nature, but not sufficiently qualified. She struggled to identify the restaurant's signature dish and also failed to serve a dish that had been requested at the outset.Ultimately Management needs to ensure basic hygiene in the restaurant and serve quality food without making anyone feel fooled.Due to the unpleasant environment and bad food, we had to leave in the middle. All in all, the food was unpleasant, there was a discrepancy in the final bill, and the establishment was unsanitary.

This place has gone through a few different owners. It was originally called Cardamom and the food was delicious. That was then, this is now: the worst chicken vindaloo I've ever had, hands down. I threw it out and made myself a bacon sandwich instead.....lovely!!!What a disappointment.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. In fact, this restaurant and its high reviews really makes me doubt Yelp's credibility and makes me ashamed to be a Yelp Elite. Besides the fact that there were zero people dining when we walked in...literally, ZERO...the food that we had were rotten with visible mold layered on the sauce that they brought. Unfortunately, I missed the disgusting layering of the mold and tasted the sauce and learned the hard way when it stung my tongue and felt like TV static for the next 5 minutes. Needless to say, before our food even got there, paid the bill in its entirety and trashed everything. Was afraid that we would give food poisoning to an unsuspecting poor soul. Never. Ever. Go here. Ever.

Food- As bad as it could get!! In the name of frankee, aloo-gobi and rice is stuffed and rolled with zero flavor or masala. And then comes the tandoori paneer on a Sizzle, no salt or spices what so ever.Billing- We were billed with appraised amount and was rectified post checking.Cutlery weren’t clean. Super disappointed.

Ordering for delivery through Door Dash, the flimsy container holding my order of lamb vindaloo was open and much of the contents had spilled into the bag, the bottom of which fell out upon delivery. This was not the fault of the driver but of the store. Based on this experience I would not order from them again. Door Dash only offered a $5 credit though I sent them a picture of the bag and, for safety reasons, felt it prudent to throw it in the garbage.

What's happened to this restaurant?! It's truly unfortunate to see a well enjoyed food venue go down the drain. The place is in such terrible state that you will lose your appetite even before you walk inside. The window panes are dirty and broken, the floor is disorganized, filthy, and neglected. Once inside the place is upside down, smells super strong (a mixture of incense and ?), and the service is not very professional (they speak loudly on their phone's speaker, yell at each other, etc). Overall not the welcoming nor pleasant experience that it used to be... truly disappointing and saddening.

I had the Chicken Tikka, which was really tasty. Plenty of generous servings of perfectly spiced chicken that is so tender it melts in your mouth. There's not much of a wait for your dinner, and they serve you with wonderful manners. I suggest Cinnamon Indian Cuisine if you enjoy Indian food and are seeking for a decent place to obtain it.

We placed a takeaway order for a vegetable platter for two at 7:30 the restaurant said it would be ready by 7:50. There were TWO people in the restaurant when we arrived at 7:46. The entire experience goes down hill from there! We didn’t get our food until 8:30! No apologies for the wait and to top it all off the jerk who was working the counter REFUSED to give us everything that came with the order! The jerk worker finally agreed to give us everything except the naan that is supposed to come with our order. DON’T EVER GO HERE!!! You’ll wait an hour for Indian food that is barely worth it. Just get frozen Indian from Trader Joe’s… it’ll taste better and you’ll get everything you’re supposed to get without the attitude.
