Really great atmosphere, but only one person to attend to all the tables, so very slow to get any orders in. Food was incredibly overpriced and left so much to desire— not cooked well, presented well, and flavor-less. Their calamari sauté on their holiday special menu was the Least Valuable Player, with rubbery protein and a pea mash in place of what probably could have been a pea pesto?

Excellent place! Very authentic, interesting choices. I didn't choose this restaurant for vegan, but was delighted with a mushroom pasta dish from that portion of the menu. Tasted a meat dish & a seafood 1 from family members; also excellent. Particularly liked short ribs ragu & the bread was terrific! Good moderate priced wines. Friendly service; will go back.

Best Italian restaurant in this side of LA.
Authentic southern Italian cuisine make me feel at home and also the Vegan option taste like a traditional dish of the tradition.

Civico 2064 is the sister restaurant to Civico 1845 in San Diego's Little Italy. Though there are a few items from 1845's menu like the light and perfectly fried Calamari and mouth watering Tiramisu, the menu's dishes are new. I tried their refreshing Limoncello Wine Spritzer and the Stuffed Zucchini Squash Blossoms as my starter, they were both delicious. But I was disappointed with my Clam Linguini. The flavors were a bit bland without the rich broth I'm use to. My dining companions had the same thought about the lack of depth in the pasta sauces. The staff were very attentive and wanted to make sure our experience was a good one. They explained they were still tweaking the dishes and were open to our comments. Overall, this newcomer is a welcomed addition to the Los Feliz area, with some lovely Vegan options listed. Looking forward to dining again as they continue to refine their menu.

Since Seabirds closed up the street, Hillhurst has been bereft of a generous vegan restaurant, and we're lucky to have such an opulent new destination.
I've dined in twice for both dinner and lunch and had great experiences both times. Was greeted by the host, Bridgett (sp?), who was very welcoming and friendly and hospitable, seated me quickly, and set a great tone for my visit.
To say that the meal at Civico has challenged my preconceptions about vegan cooking is a gross understatement. It has rocked me to my core.
Vegans and vegetarians are very lucky to have Civico in Los Feliz. They have a number of delicious and inventive dairy- and animal product–free components, the likes of which I could never dream of: house-made baked almond ricotta, bechamel, and parmiggiano, and impossible ragu — just unparalleled vegan inventions going on at Civico. It rules. What a bounty.
For dinner, I had the fiori di zucchine (lightly fried squash blossoms, caponata and tomato sauce), which I've thought about every day since. I also had the deconstructed cannoli (with almond ricotta and chocolate chips) for dessert. WOW.
Alejandro was my server for dinner, and he was super accommodating and communicative and offered great recommendations in as far as cocktail/mocktail recommendations and his favorite dishes on the dinner menu. He was awesome.
On another visit, I've had the vegan tiramisu for takeout (ladyfingers, cashew mascarpone), which was so tasty. I endeavor to try the full dessert menu. This sets such a high bar for vegan dessert options when dining out.
I took a family member to try out the new lunch menu, and we opted for the panini selection (the panino vegetariano, with imported burrata, heirloom tomatoes, zucchini blossom, and basil, with added prosciutto; the panino vegano, with eggplant, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, and olive pate; and the barbabietole salad, with red beets, arugula, red lettuce, feta cheese, oranges, walnuts, honey, Modena balsamic reduction, and EVOO). A pitch-perfect lunch to eat on the sidewalk during a beautiful sunny afternoon in LA. What more could you ask for.
Aria was our server, and he was terrific and helpful as we navigated the new lunch menu and the specific dietary accommodations of my party. The service here is as good as you could ask for, and Aria really nailed it.
It's an ideal place to bring an out-of-town visitor or family member. And not just for the vegan options, since it excels as an Italian restaurant as well. The vibes are immaculate. Bridgettt, Aria, and Alejandro are awesome. I will be returning to Civico soon, hungry for more.
Vegetarian options: Half of the menu is vegan options

This new restaurant lives up to their other location in San Diego! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly attentive and warm. The exposed open kitchen creates a welcoming, collaborative connection between the chefs and customers. My favorite dishes were the lunch paninis and the stuffed zucchini blossoms—both were absolutely delicious!

I love Civico 2064! This restaurant truly stands out with its commitment to using fresh vegetables sourced directly from farms, which is important to me because I care about my health and what I eat. My favorites are their pasta and lemon cake—they're absolutely delicious! The service is incredibly welcoming, making every visit a happiness.

I think the place looks amazing and the overall experience and food were great ! I do think we may have just had a waiter that was a bit more on the care free side because getting him to come to the table initially took some time. During our meal he didn’t come around much and getting his attention at the end was tough as he was just hanging out in the corner. This may just have been luck of the draw but food was great and the rest of the staff was very attentive .

The service and atmosphere were good, but the food was rather bland. The house-made focaccia was stale. The meatballs were under-seasoned. The vegan bolognese was good (but not spectacular). All in all, a bit underwhelming.

If I could give it a 4.5 Stars I would give it that.
The service was amazing, and most of the food was delicious. Ordered a mushroom pasta dish that was JUST OKAY. Wasn’t a fan, and expected it to be better…
Great wine list, and non alcoholic choices.
Parking will be tricky, at any time of the day unfortunately.
Dietary restrictions: Nice that they have options for people who are Vegetarian and Vegan.
Parking: Parking is tricky. There are meters out front. Some side streets with random parking availability.
