This is a cozy, local neighborhood hangout and a great place to meet up to grab a bite and a latte. My favorite is the egg in the hole avocado toast. So satisfying and delicious. The service is always friendly. Some days takes longer than others to get your food so if in a rush, try ordering ahead. Also, parking is notoriously bad in this court so I recommend parking in the VA lot and walking over.

This is a really nice bakery and casual lunch spot, super low key in Brentwood (if that's possible). The space is open and comfortable to have a coffee with a friend, or get some work done. The baked goods and breads are delicious! Try the cream bun if you like cardamom and sugar donuts. The coffee drinks are very very good as well. Zero bitterness, comes out hot, not tepid (huge pet peeve!) and priced competitively. The only not great experience was the pretty frigid and low energy service, specifically from the too cool dude manning the front and taking orders. You know, one of those moments when you feel like you're putting them out by asking questions about their menu items. Whatever, guy. You're a tortured soul and answering questions about scones are beneath you. We get it.

Out of all the Clark Street Bakeries in Los Angeles , this location is the best when it comes to friendliness, food, service and efficiency. I love their bread, pastries, bagels & sandwiches. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great coffee too. Never a crazy long wait and the employees are delightful. Chill place for breakfast, lunch or to meet up with a friend for coffee.

The fresh seeded bread is amazing . Been going there every other week to get a loaf. Parking can be difficult in Brentwood.

They have great pasties and loaves of bread to take home. I get the French Sourdough country style loaf, rectangular shape. Great crunch with chew

Food was good but I've come here twice and both times they forgot to make my coffee and I had to go back and request it. They didn't even realize their mistake when I was standing by the counter waiting for a while. Also the coffee lids didn't fit will so it was spilling out the whole drive in the cup holder.

An amazing staff that makes you feel at home, I have a few allergies when it comes to sandwiches because god decided to punish me for being too awesome. She was very patient with my order and was kind enough to list the ingredients so I would know what would and wouldn’t kill me. Shout out to Andrea and her amazing customer service! ???

These pastries are actual heaven in your mouth. At first glance they appear simple, perhaps even bland to those who don't enjoy these types of pastries, but no way. They are so moist and soft, the flavor is delicate but delectable at the same time and not too sweet. My favorite items are the cardamom buns, vanilla buns, fruit danish, and the occasional special buns they have, blueberry was the last one I tried. All are just phenomenal, bonus points for being my organic. I dream about them daily. I mostly order for delivery but stop in when I'm in the area, the service is great, friendly staff, and the ambiance is like that of a casual cafe, very clean. Parking is a pain, if I can't find a spot in their lot, I tend to park across the street, all metered spots. If you're ordering for pickup, they provide you with a phone number to contact if you're having trouble finding parking, they'll instruct you on where to go and run it out to you. They sell out of items frequently and have very short hours, the only drawbacks I can think of. But still 10/10 highly recommend.

Love this new discovery for me... the weekend has a special pistachio croissant that is to die for! Wow. This is a local spot, not a ton of parking, not fast paced, but it's a small amazingly tasty good coffee and wonderful pastries. Staff was friendly... also is pet friendly. I'll be back soon. Tip - this is not your stop if your in a rush. But if you have those lucky 10 min - pick up a quality coffee and pastry this is a must!

Avoid this place! Sad to say, the lousy service that existed at the Le Pain Quotidian previously, in this same location, is alive and well at Clark Street. Rude attitude and inattentive employees and we had even pre-tipped at checkout. When my dish was made incorrectly, I asked for the missing ingredients and then the plate subsequently sat in the window for awhile, without anyone delivering it, so I went to the food service window and got it myself. The food is waaaaay overpriced for what you get. It just wasn't worth it.

Food was good. First time here. We didn't have time to sit around and enjoy. Will come back again.I will try the pastry next time.
