Best dinner in LA, classical options with freshed baked crossaints , so very close to Hollywood blvd is a must go to when your in town, the Food and space transport you to another time, like the early days of dinners affordable and fancy with excellent costumer service.

A truly reputation-earning combination of food, coffee, atmosphere, and service. We sat across from the kitchen window, and every order that appeared there looked more delicious than the last. Anna treated us right and pointed me toward an exemplary breakfast sandwich that I can't stop thinking about. Hoping to catch her next time—she seems like the sort to remember our faces.

The best diner food in LA. This is not a hyperbolic statement; I’ve tried every classic diner in the city and Clark Street is the yummiest.

I had higher hopes. It was obvious that this place counts every cent of everything. Not quite enough syrup for the pancakes stack. Could have also used a little more butter (and not so cold). I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese English muffin sandwich. The sandwich comes with nothing else and it reminded me too much of McDonald’s. Also, it was not* very hot. Service isn’t very friendly or attentive. Boyfriend and I were not impressed with the hashbrowns - not very hot and not very crispy. Blueberry pancakes were definitely the best thing there. FULL of blueberries.

This reminds me of a 60s diner. There is a counter where we sat for breakfast. The place is extremely busy and the wait staff is hopping. But service is excellent. It’s definitely worth the wait.

A friend and I went to Clark Street Diner on Friday, October 31st, 2025 for waffles and fried chicken and a breakfast plate. The chicken was good, extra maple syrup was $2.50 per ounce, and the breakfast platter had to be remade, as the food was delivered at room temperature. The plate was hot, but the food was not. We also had luke warm coffee for $5.00 each. The bill came to $55.00, plus $10.00 tip. I have never paid $65.00 for two modest breakfasts. I will not return to Clark Street Diner.

Really good food. Farm fresh eggs, hash browns are fire. Excellent quality at a price. 4% auto for kitchen staff and party of 6+ has auto gratuity. Price adds up. 75 bucks for two breakfasts after all said tax and tip. On the expensive side but pretty standard for the area i think.

Service was fantastic! Food was amazing all around the table, my avocado toast was one of the best I’ve had! Be prepared to wait for a table, but it’s worth it!
