Absolutely love this place for their pastries and bread alone. My favorite pastry is the Swedish cardamom bun, and their sourdough bread is fantastic as well. When I want something savory I go for their simple everything bagel that gets the job done. I don’t normally get the coffee here, as the times I’ve been there they only seem to have drip. I didn't intend to write a review for this bakery/coffee shop, as I wanted to gatekeep, but I have to share the love. Clark Street embodies the low-key and cool vibes that I truly appreciate. The music is great, the employees are friendly and polite. The service was quick, which was a plus. I noticed they handle a lot of takeout orders, which speaks volumes. I also appreciate the mix of customers--it's not overrun by trendy TikTokers but neighborhood regulars.
