Used to come here weekly since 2004, but after the rudest service in 2011 I took a break. Came back to give second chance. Still horrible service. Swore never to return. Even gave a third chance in 2014 , seems everytime I return I remind myself of why I shouldn't return. Might need to go back in hopes that they have new staff. Update it finally closed at the end of 2022. No surprise.

I am so disappointed on whomever owned this place to just leave their workers hanging. There should have been some notice to tell your workers that they didn't have job security after the holidays. So selfish. Bless the workers and the food they provided daily. I hope they're doing okay.

Service is slow, which creates a tense or anxious environment just waiting for the meal. The food comes in small portions and over-priced. Our server took a break and did not tell us, so it took us a long time to get a box, refill and check.

We've been coming here for years every weekend for breakfast. The food is always awesome and very presentable. We love our Server Lorena. She is the best and has come to feel like part of our family and the rest of the staff is sooooo friendly too. We will definitely continue to come to this specific location for these reasons. We had an enjoyable lunch today. Food was great but most of all Martha our waitress was wonderful. Friendly and especially funny. Wish more waitresses were like her.

We had a craving for Turkey around Thanksgiving. Thought we would try this Coco's. We had the Turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy with green beans. Turkey was probably acceptable but the stuffing was stale. Like they left it out or an old batch from yesterday. Big let down #1 Also ordered the Turkey hash, eggs with French Toast, but as you can see in the photo, where's the Turkey Hash? No Turkey hash. Disappointment #2. Explanation, yesterday was very busy, they ran out yesterday and had to improvise. That didn't explain today. They offered some discount that was not satisfactory, so I asked for some pie instead. I was not impressed with cook and management. Waitress was nice. She delivered what she had. Come at your discretion. You decide.

The food was decently spiced, however everything was very sweet. The pancakes were too sweet, the butter, and of course the pie. Food wasn't bad, just too sweet for my liking. If you love sugar, this is the place for you!
Great staff, service. Food was excellent. Highly recommend. Glad this restaurant remains in Highland Park.

I don't write very many reviews but this review was needed. My sister and I went to Cocos this morning to grab a quick bite before our trip. There was nothing exceptional about the food but the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Lorrena (hope I spelled it correctly), was absolutely wonderful! Not only did she make us feel welcomed but made sure that our coffee cups were always filled, which is super important when you are boarding a 10-hour flight within 3 hours. :) I will definitely be coming back, not so much for the food, but for the service!

Tasty food, friendly service. Love to come here when I'm in the mood for pancakes, eggs and bacon. Hasn't disappointed thus far! The cinnamon roll is MASSIVE and covered with frosting so be prepared for a food coma if you can't stop eating it. Marcia was our server and she was kind and attentive. Looking forward to coming back!
