Cofax is my favorite coffee spot in California! Amazing atmosphere, delicious burritos, great coffee, and the friendliest staff. Always a perfect start to the day!

Took 35 minutes to make the pastrami burrito, was not even that good in my opinion and the staff wasn’t very nice either about the long wait, I was the only one in the store and took forever. I get you have to deal with the location I’m sure they try their best with what they have to deal with!

I have had the chorizo burrito in my breakfast burrito rotation for years. The key is the hash mix of peppers, onions, chorizo, and potatoes. You'll want to eat it right away to enjoy the tortilla strips while they're still crunchy. DELICIOUS 😋

Absolutely flawless experience at COFAX on Fairfax Ave across from Canter’s Deli in LA’s historic Fairfax district.

Upon walking in you’re greeted by a very professional and courteous staff, if they were owners I wouldn’t be surprised, they cared about my enjoyment of my Chorizo breakfast burrito which was graciously recommended to me upon my request for a rec.

What makes the experience a truly special one isn’t the perfectly seasoned and cooked chorizo/eggs/potatoes, no, it’s the house smoked/made tomatillo and roja salsas. Absolute perfection added to every bite, I’m a bit of an animal and after having one bite with each alone I had to combine them to make the most perfect bite of fresh, bright acidity, meets smoky, robust pepper on a burrito that’s BIG (filled a big 250 lb guy). They provide one of each salsa with a purchase of a burrito, if you want more they’re $.50 a piece and I didn’t need extra but I used every last drop so if you’re saucy you may want to splurge for two extra salsas for a buck!

The coffee was worth a trip alone, but the combination of a perfect breakfast burrito and iced latte has made a new regular customer out of me. If you’re ever by The Grove or Farmers Market and actually want something worth your money ($21 and change) head up the street 5 minutes to Cofax!! No cash accepted!!

Sorry no pics I was breaking a fast and went a little ravenous when the burrito was handed to me lol!! Thanks again COFAX!!

The breakfast burrito here is arguably one of the best in LA. Smoky, cheesy, and addicting. Also a great little coffee stop.

Cofax is easily one of my favorite spots in LA. I’m absolutely obsessed with their bacon breakfast burrito — it’s perfect every single time. Paired with an Americano, it’s my go-to morning ritual.

The vibe inside the shop is something special: warm, authentic, and full of character. It just feels good to be there. You can tell there’s love and intention behind everything — from the food to the music to the design.

Huge thanks to the people who created this place — you’ve built more than just a café. You’ve built a space that feels like home. 🙏

One of the best breakfast burritos in LA. Very consistent. I order in person and for delivery both are great. Green salsa is so good too. Ask for extra.

One of the best breakfast burritos in the city. I spent a fair amount of time searching, and for sure in my top 3. The bacon one is the best in my opinion, but their other options are great too.

*The burritos will make it worth it*

This place popped up on my best breakfast burritos list.

I will say this the pastrami burrito is worth every dollar that they ask for.

Also I was going to leave them a one star. The service here was terrible and the staff were not polite to me.

Although while I was there, I saw a homeless guy come in and they gave him a free burrito and drink. That made me feel better about this place. So I couldn’t leave a one star review.

This place also gets really crowded but not in a bad way. They move as quickly as possible and they are friendly to the regulars.

If you want a great burrito this place is worth a try.

Years ago this place was a top spot for me. The burritos were uniquely made and incredible and when I first started going here in 2018-2019, they cost about $13.50. Now they’ve increased in price significantly and decreased in quality and taste even more so. I really wouldn’t recommend going here for burritos - the hype of this place is dying with the rest of Fairfax and its a shame places like these do their community and supporters dirty by raising prices to serve a bad product.

This is the place you go to when coffee commissary truck is missing and you’re desperate for a breakfast burrito. I remember getting a burrito exactly like this as a kid after softball games, it was somehow even bigger than this one and only $7.50 - now this exact burrito is $15 before the avocado is added which the burrito really needs, and there’s no sides. It’s such a plain burrito, no depth of flavor, but the positive is there was a lot of bacon added and it came out fast-ish. I won’t go back unless in a food emergency, not worth the cost and the taste.
