I stopped by and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the drink itself was fine, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff member who helped me was curt and came across as quite rude, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I clearly ordered a matcha latte, but she insisted several times—loudly—that I had asked for a mocha latte, before reluctantly making the drink. Her demeanor felt dismissive rather than welcoming, which was discouraging.

I love this place. Easily my favorite coffee spot in LA. I've stopped by many times over the years and was compelled to write a review because my experience is always so good.
Their coffee selection is great and tastes far better than most cafes I've been to in the greater LA area. Their seasonal Café de olla is something I look forward to each winter. Their prices, however, are the real kicker. A Medium coffee for $3.25, in this economy? In this city? Insane. A Large for under $4. They've never once asked for a tip either. In fact, they've encouraged not leaving one. You pay what the price is. They validate parking for the Farmer's Market as well, which can be rare at The Grove.
To add, the owners/staff are always pleasant, polite and attentive. I've never had a negative experience here.
Great selection. Great taste. Great prices. Great location. Great customer service. Highly recommended. They will always have my business when I'm at The Grove. Sometimes I drive out there just to stop at Coffee Corner.

Terrible service, the old woman is a pedant. I asked about coffee with cinnamon and he replied that there isn't any. Then I told him about Olla. "No," he answered with a bad face and continued talking to the other, younger woman. I will never return, I came often for that coffee but I never will again and I will not recommend it.
