This is such a cute dessert cafe but what a shame about their staff and seating. For paying for drinks and food, they should be more aware of their seating and consideration to others. They have tables reserved for 5+ groups but my cousin and I were sitting in them since all the chairs and tables were taken up by others. We were asked to move in the middle of our work, but there were clearly other people sitting in the reserved tables as well and did not reach the 5+ group requirement - three girls were sitting right next to us and there was no 5 person group. Workers came to tell us we need to leave twice but the other group was left alone? Doesn't seem friendly or aware of their surroundings. I was excited to come here for my second time but asking to move when you're in the middle of working is a bit of a bummer /:

After-dinner sweet pumpkin and taro lattes hit the spot! Many of the pastries and drinks are highly processed and unhealthy hence 4 stars. Ok for occasional visit :)

Vegetarian options: Almost zero vegan pastries, dairy milks available for drinks

I’m definitely visiting again; this time I will dine in. The service was okay. I loved the carrot cake that I purchased. I have been thinking about it all day.

Worker was really nice and sweet! Pastry fillings (taro / black bean) were slightly too sweet for my taste buds though

Good place to work > revision, the wifi here SUCKS I cannot… Parking is valet only after a certain hour of the day. Pretty good food, wide selection of pastries and drinks. Not crowded during the week. There’s outlets here, yes.

I stopped by to kill some time while I was waiting for a ride, and this place was perfect. So many pastries to choose from I honestly had trouble picking, super quick service and good coffee. The cute upstairs seating is definitely the best part, it would be a great place to set up for the afternoon and get work done!

Wheelchair accessibility: ⚠️ Upstairs seating is only accessible by stairs.

Parking: Free parking but just small sometimes u need to park on street.

Coin De Rue is a wonderful dessert cafe! Service is amazing, free wifi for customers, great AC to beat the heat and an awesome upstairs lounge to study in or just enjoy some good food. I highly recommend for students and passing folks who are looking for a quiet oasis. Prices are super reasonable for the area. #

Located in the LA Historic building that once was the original See's Candy location. Coin De Rue is an artisan bakery selling excellent pastries. From their creamy filled donuts to a notorious flattened croissant, pastries are interesting here. This cafe also offers cakes and a variety of other pastries. With the exception for personal preference, the brownie here not really a brownie. They also compete with another well known bakery just across the small parking lot thus you can get sandwiches too along with other savory items. The service is excellent. Pastries are wrapped and packaged with care. The staff here are well trained. The cafe portion seems generous with available drinks and even a sitting area upstairs The pricing is at a premium level for the artistry here. Much of the details for fine pastry are followed, and you will be impressed by the selection. You will find some excellent items and some not. Opened late till 11pm, this may be one of the saving grace when many others close too early.

Cheap and delicious Korean bakery ?
The young female boss is friendly, so I think I'll stop by often.
A male staff member regularly cleans the tables.
The coffee has a bit of a strong acidity, but it's perfect to eat with bread. Here, I am completely cured of homesickness in my bones.
