Came to try the viral Sobuneh breakfast burrito touted as the best in LA. Solid burrito, but not knocked off my feet. Tried the classic w chorizo and the bacon one. Tried both sauces and the hot sauce . Definitely good portion, crispy bacon and tator tots. Personally liked the bacon more than the chorizo. Tortilla could be better and would be nice if it was toasted on the outside for a crisp. It's a bit greasy. Prefer both wake and late and Great White for their breakfast burritos. The burrito, would give a 4/5, but dropped a star for the fact that they automatically add tip into my total, did not notice until after checkout. A tip is typically something you leave after service to show you had a good experience, not something you leave before you have any human interaction and just played with a tablet. I'm already paying ~$20 for a burrito to cover the overhead, food and profit... There is no service involved anymore than at the deli counter at a super market or at a fast food restaurant.... A bit ridiculous considering this isn't even a brick and mortar and is coming from a ghost kitchen. Other than that was about a 20 min wait when I ordered at 9:10am and 2 of the burritos were sold out already which is kind of crazy as they say they open at 9.

** Manager did call to try to fix it and said they are working kinks out of their system... I want to be clear tip is not mandatory but it is automatically added. They also add several dollars in service fees for an order made in house - $7 in fees and taxes for 2 breakfast burritos and tots. total ~$55. I did ask them to remove the tip after I checked my receipt which they did. - see attached receipt

Today I had Sobuneh, which was tasty but long wait time.

I’ve had main chicken before. Also
Tasty but longer wait time than expected.

Goop was prolly my favorite from here.

Lots of good food here, but ALWAYS A LONG WAIT…even if u order ahead of time.

Staff is always just talking and never really helpful. Think I’m done giving this place a try.

I had a great impression of this place! Thanks to Cyrus who showed me what it's about! Over 30 restaurants!!‼️🤯 Which is soooo convenient! I even took advantage of a coupon witha free gyro from 360 Fusion. It was delicious 😋 They even have King Taco and In n Out!!! Crazy cool concept I hope I keep getting these great experiences here because I'm coming back ❗️💯❤️ Street parking or paid public parking lot in the back. ✨️

Paid with Apple Cash at the kiosk, charge went through but screen still said I needed to pay. Employee admitted this happens often with this kiosk, yet no sign to warn customers. Had to pay again with another card and now waiting on a refund. Poor customer experience, won’t be back.

The colony in Venice spoiled me. I waited 45 minutes for a salmon salad from Goop here. When I asked the guy what was taking so long. He shrugged and said they were super busy.

Maybe it's because I didn't tip. I didn't tip it because they have an automatic 10% surcharge. I hate crap like this. $23.25 is a lot of money to pay 45 minutes for a salad.

I came to Colony hungry. I’ll leave with an existential crisis.

Sat down, ordered, and then… nothing. No updates, no drinks, no “your food’s coming right up” — just me staring at the table while the staff vanished into the ether like they’d been raptured.

At one point, I started to wonder if I was the ghost. I waved at someone behind the counter; they looked straight through me like I was in the Sixth Sense.

By the time my food finally arrived, I’d already mentally written my will and said goodbye to my loved ones.

If you want the thrill of being abandoned in plain sight, Colony’s your place. Bring snacks

You are in a rush to grab some food and think oh great I can sit down and grab food, only to learn it’s one of those ghost kitchens. I will always always always hate these concepts.

I just want food, created by someone who’s passionate about that dish. But these guys just wanna turn this into a money making machine. Cool, you do you but I wanna enjoy a meal. A MEAL.

Also it’s funny how this is labeled as a food court. No love in this business

The concept and the execution of that concept is the next generation of restaurants.

Kudos to a very friendly female employee with a patience of an angel, working today on a pick up window.
Repeating the same things every minute to a new person all over again would have driven anyone crazy but you manage to stay patient friendly and helpful.
I waited for my order for 30 min and got a parking ticket but I still feel good because of you and your kindness. You rock, wish you all the best, get out of this crazy place ☺️

Nice staff. Great food! But the orders are never ready for pickup based on the Door dash app. Usually 10+ minutes later than when you get the notification.
