I grew up eating here when the new owner was a kid and he'd be in back while his parents worked. Loved coming here but today I find out that they give only six pieces of beef for their beef and broccoli or should I say (broccoli and beef) didn't know it became Panda Express counting their pieces. I stayed loyal and continued coming here but no more. I know 1 review does not impact the business as much but it is sad to see a place of nostalgia become so penny pinching.

The food is way overpriced for the small portions you receive. The servers are stingy; they would even remove food from your plate after they've already served it. I ordered chicken, and I was only given three tiny wings. If you guys want to charge more than fkn add more to the plate. I seriously don’t leave reviews but this got to me. And the reviewers here who are hyping it up quit lying

Nothing special. The food isn't that tasty and the portions aren't worth the prices. The tables were obviously not cleaned the entire day. I got the 2 dish container and the lady filled 90% of it with the cheap chow mein and gave a small tasting of the other dish I wanted. What I paid 10 dollars for should have cost 3. I hate that in a serving that is supposed to contain two equal portions of two dishes the server goes out of her way to pinch pennies in what you are buying. The little smart act they think they're pulling on you leaves a bad taste in your mouth that isn't worth the food or the money you pay.
Lady refused to let me use the restroom.

Really don’t know what to make of the recent negative reviews here, but the food was solid, if not one of the best Americanized Chinese fast food I’ve had in some time.
Orange chicken had a nice sweet, although not overpowering with a nice tangy flavor. Beef broccoli was solid, broccoli cooked to a perfect crisp texture, and teriyaki was good. Chow mein had a nice flavor while not being too oily and having that nice al dente texture.
One benefit here is that the food isn’t too oily, so not too much bloating. Food here is really made with quality and care. There is a reason why they have a dedicated following on the internet.
Would recommend for Americanized Chinese food lovers. Ran by the same family for years…great to support a local business.

Always my go-to spot. Authentic little place in the heart of Echo Park! The food is always on point. Who would think such great taste comes from a little walk-in steam table. Authentic Char Su, shrimp fried rice ( they will make it for you in the back definitely 5 stars from the secret menu?).
Great broccoli beef, and the best orange chicken that rivals bigger sit-down restaurants. Great spot to hit before a Dodger game, a night at the EchoPlex, or simply take it to go and have a picnic at the lake.

They don’t list their prices. They do have a menu taped to a table but the prices are scratched out. ComboA read $7.25 but today it was $12.50. Only sign says prices are subject to change without warning lol.
There was once a cool guy working this counter (felt like owner) but these days it’s grumpy old ladies that barely speak English. They get offended very easily by any questions or confusion. In an ironic twist, after I asked if the green beans counted as a side or a meat and they kept saying 2 meats but then only giving me 1 meat (bc of green beans)… the lady looked at me deadpan and said “where are you from? You don’t speak English.” Then she scoffed to her colleague and they gave me a dirty look. I just look like a typical white dude and speak with a traditional American accent lol. I was also very patient and polite. If felt like a comedy sketch about reverse racism. Weird experimence overall. Service sucks. Ambiance sucks and food is subpar.

This is the worst Chinese fast food I ever been. The orange chicken was hard and the noodles had no taste to it. I ordered two items and the was too high. Don't waste your time and money at this place.

Been here a few times. Great spot to grab dinner while doing laundry. Service is always excellent, and the food is especially tasty for being fast food.

Owner always greets you with a smile. He is always in a "cool?" mood.
Food is delicious my favorite will forever be combo A ?chow mein with BBQ pork and wings. We've been loyal costumers even before the name change. I remember my parents bringing us here when we were younger. Now I still come and bring my husband and nieces and we just can't get enough.
