Nikki at the register was honestly awful. Look, I get that customer service is hard, but wow. She had this smile plastered on her face that was so fake it actually made things worse. Every time I asked a question she'd sigh or give me this look like I was wasting her time.
Honestly management needs to do something about this because one person like that can mess up your whole reputation.

Queued ~60-80 min. If you insist on lines, at least hand out mini health/juice shots for the crowd waiting. Inside is tiny; staff kept telling people to keep the door shut; the room felt smoky with a strong meat odor—rough if you’re vegetarian. One cashier smiled but came off oddly snobby ?Nikki. Overall: hype > substance, service feels inconsistent, scene-y not cozy, and some hours/locations don’t even serve food. Please owners fix it. Could be something really great with the great coffee/matcha and food and not just hype. Otherwise someone needs to open opposite.

The matcha einspanner was nothing short of amazing. They use Rocky’s blend which is socially questionable since it’s not a Japanese brand and high retail pricing but who are we kidding they nail it with the matcha flavor profile: Asian American’s favorite-nutty and umami. And pairing it with the cafe’s cream foam makes the drinks creamy and just sweet enough! This was my favorite matcha drink in LA.

Worth the 30 min wait! Genuinely one of the best lattes I’ve had. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately, the line was worth it. If you are just getting drinks though, probably not. It’s good, but not worth waiting 45+ minutes for a drink you will most likely finish in less than 5. However, the breakfast sliders!!!! Chefs kiss. 10/10 would wait again for over an hour for them. Definitely add the avocado (and bacon if you aren’t vegetarian)— you already waited so long in line, just spend the extra $2! Come with a friend, and the time will pass fast. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to just coming here (it’s annoying to find parking in this area and the lines are notorious) and thought I knew what to expect but wow! When I took that first bite, everything truly fell into place, and I’m already planning to persuade friends to come with me.
I came Friday at around 11am and got my food around 12pm, just a little over an hour. If i only got drinks and ready made pastries, it would have been under an hour. I’ll definitely try to come on a Mon- Thu next time

Had about a 20-25 min wait for this matcha, it was actually good the eispanner cream is both sweet but salty at a good pace that it compliments the matcha. overall matcha is good and staff were friendly, parking is the main issue because there is no where to park!!

Not sure why this artificially sweet toast costs $10. It tasted cloying and overly flavored. The coffee was meh, but the breakfast sliders were the only thing worth ordering.

One of the most amazing eggs you’ll ever taste — it’s a must-try! I’ve had it three times already!

Waited about 45 min in line but worth the experience! Everything tasted delish! Would love to come back and try more matcha and coffee next time but probably in the afternoon with less line :) the breakfast sandos are served until 12pm so it's usually more packed until then

First time at Community Goods. Parking was a bit difficult, but the line wasn’t long. Tried the Hojicha and it was okay, not very strong. For the price, I expected better quality. Service was fine.

Everything was fine but overall service comes with straight faced stares and the sense that you should leave asap. Maybe it was an off day.

Had he cafe con leche and it was absolutely delicious
Horribly overpriced and overrated. Waited 50 min to get a pretty good matcha and while I don’t regret it, i 1000% will not be coming back.
After waiting outside in line for approximately an hour, we were told to remain outside and were not allowed to enter to order. Service was not personable or particularly friendly. You’d be better off going to Starbucks to be honest. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
