We arrived at Caffe Concerto for brunch and were informed that their coffee machine was not working and neither was their credit card payment system. Not a great start, but we stayed due to being on a time constraint. The rest of the experience was fine - decent food, okay service - but not more than fine.
We were searching for a place to dine prior to a concert at the Wiltern and found Concerto on this site and saw it was within walking distance. We were seated immediately, outside, and our server was gracious and helpful in recommendations. She made sure we were served in a timely manner and the food was delicious. We decided to share 3 dishes between the 4 of us. Their complementary Bread arrived first with a dipping oil/balsamic, and the bread seemed to be basted with a lovely...
Fun place with good food for a fair price. Drink menu is obviously where their profit line is. Expensive cocktails but surprisingly affordable food, especially considering location. Small parking lot shared with neighboring restaurant. Metered street parking nearby but few spots unless you are lucky. Valet parking $4.Had the fried calamari app and the Fruti di Mare Risotto, and both were excellent. Had an Arnold Parmer (lemonade and iced tea). It was $7 but is fresh sqeezed...
