The cafe with the best the best work/study environment in LA. Their patio is pretty cool too for breakfast and brunch. Love this place
Reliable staple
Coral Tree Café in Brentwood is one of those rare gems that manages to check every box—great for a casual business lunch, a solo coffee, or just catching up with a friend over something fresh and flavorful. The food is consistently solid, with plenty of healthy options that still feel hearty. I had the lentil soup today—rich, well-seasoned, and honestly satisfying in a way that most cafés just don’t deliver. Their coffee? Always on point.
Service inside is friendly and attentive, but I have to give a special shoutout to the parking lot team, which is crucial in this neighborhood where parking is otherwise a nightmare. Fernando, in particular, is a standout—greeted me with a smile and had me in and out quickly without stress. He somehow keeps things moving with calm efficiency, which sets the tone for the whole visit.
Brentwood has no shortage of polished cafés, but Coral Tree stands out by making things easy, delicious, and just a little bit better than expected. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to—not flashy, just dependable in the best way.
Little pricey, but delicious.
The restaurant is located west of UCLA, Veterans Administration and the 405 freeway. There is metered street in front of the restaurant extending for more than a block. The menu is extensive and posted on the wall and menus provided by the restaurant. Orders a place at the counter. After the meals I paid for the cashier gives you a sign with a number to be placed on the table. The prices were reasonable. The service was good. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is very large and accommodate large groups of diners.
Sooo cute
Lovely corner Cafe with cafeteria style standing in line ordering, then finding a seat inside or out. Dogs are welcome outside, but watch for the fire pits as they do get hot.
Food and drinks were good and plenty of seating was available. Parking is either via valet or you can find enough on the streets around the corner. California fresh with lots of choices. Definitely recommend stopping by and we didn't reserve in advanced.
Nice vibes! I ordered the avocado toast and an iced latte. Both were great, I'd definitely come back again!
A Cozy Brentwood Gem with Fantastic Food and Service
Coral Tree Café in Brentwood has become one of my go-to spots for a relaxed yet delicious meal. The cozy, casual atmosphere makes it the perfect place to catch up with friends, enjoy a work meeting, or just take a quiet moment to yourself.
The menu offers a great variety, from fresh salads to hearty paninis and a great breakfast burrito! Each dish is packed with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. I personally love their Mediterranean Toast and soups. The food is always fresh and satisfying. Their coffee and teas are also excellent, whether you're craving a simple latte or something more unique like their matcha options.
What sets Coral Tree apart is the service. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and quick, whether you’re dining in or ordering to-go. I’ve never had a bad experience, and they consistently make you feel at home.
Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee break, Coral Tree Café is an essential stop in Brentwood. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious, healthy food in a laid-back environment.

Very yummy and healthy fresh squeezed juices. Inviting atmosphere; reminded me of Urth Cafe vibes.
I sat next to the fire pit which was very nice and warm.
Not much parking in the area. They have Valet for $4.50 for an hour but it was full when I arrived.

I got fooled by the reviews. You really just pay for the outdoor area. The food is otherwise not fresh and overpriced. We had the caprese panini (passable) and the macaroni and cheese (certainly came from a package) as well as the cannelé (served aged and cold) and the macaroons (not home made). Overall I’d say come here to enjoy a coffee on the terrace but keep it at that.
I would not take time to write a review unless my experience was so bad that others need to know about this place.
Food is tasteless...actually tasteless! Tuna sandwich was so needing some flavor, not just the taste of an opened, unadorned can of tuna. Salad dressing so bland that it would be better with nothing on it.
Tomato soup had an unusual flavor that they added to try to make it something that did not resemble tomatoes.
Place was dirty and worn out and service was surly and uninterested. I tried to engage the manager but she was "on break. Tried to reach her from my phone later and after 20 minutes on hold with no answer I hung up.
Save your money and time. Yuck....!!!!!
