Specializing in Korean lunch boxes, raw fish rice bowl, bean noodles, rice cake dumpling soup, squid somen, etc. A popular place for lunch and catering for office workers in nearby offices. Overall, it is delicious and the portions are good.Hwaedupbap (sushi rice) - personally it’s best menu (huge portion) diced raw sushi (salmon & tuna) with gochujang topping on the rice, overall very delicious and large portion food for the whole family to share. Also if you like spicy Korean mixed bibim noodle like Jjolmyun, I recommend trying Ojingo Somyun the spicy squid noodle, very delicious ?Seems like a lot of people have menus for take out / to-go / delivery from Koreatown & the offices nearby (talked to the very kind sajangnim owner lady, very confident of her menu - using fresh ingredients & the taste)Highly recommended this place for office workers who work nearby. (For delivery & take out)Vegetarian options: They got konggooksoo (Korean cold bean noodle), quenching dish on hot summer days

Very delicious authentic Korean food overall, especially spicy gochujang sushi rice (hwae dupbap) and the spicy squid noodle (ojinguh Somyun) - big portions and best tasting one I've tasted so farOne of my favorite Korean gourmet food spot (matjip) in town. They also seem to do a lot of bulgogi doshirak lunch box catering orders for big and small companies because their foods are very tasty. Last time I went was after 2 years of pandemic, sadly almost all of the food court stores have closed down - but I was really excited to find out that this store is still open. The ambiance here feels very empty after pandemic - but trust me, the food here in this restaurant alone is delicious enough to fill all the food court tables with people.Everyone at Koreatown (especially office workers in Wilshire Blvd) should order from this place if they haven't tried , great place for lunch or pick up.They must have really really good cook.Everything I've had so far were real tasty; the flavor was on point, very fresh ingredients - I felt healthier / rejuvenated after eating their food.Thank God this place is still open - my boss at my old job (who loves gourmet food spot) used to visit this place often with me to buy me some delicious meals here.Thank you Corea BBQ for staying open & providing delicious food AND good customer service !

Today is my first time eating lunch at this food court inside City Center on 6th. As of May 2023, there are only 3 options inside this spacious food court including Corea BBQ. I decided to get a Chicken Bulgogi Doshirak lunch special for $12.95 plus tax (approximately $14) and ate it at the food court. They provide a buzzer with your order number and it will buzz once it's ready. I only waited for approximately 5-7 minutes despite the busyness during lunch. When I came forward to pick up my order, I was not expecting a full course on the doshirak. It had a mountain of chicken bulgogi pieces (marinated chicken bulgogi thigh meat), 4 banchan (sides) and a cup of purple rice with a fried egg. It also included a savory broth with bean sprouts and a pack of seaweed. The chicken was savory and tender but it the sauce was lacking in terms of quantity. I kinda wish the chicken had more sauce but it still had an umami flavor along with the sauteed green onions and carrots. However, I really enjoyed the fluffy purple rice paired with a sunny side up egg. Lastly, please be sure to put away your trays and plates and place them on the designated racks found on the sides instead of leaving them on your table. Corea BBQ is a decent place to get some quick Korean food and I'll be back again to try other items here.

My favorite place for Hot Stone Bibimbap. I been to many places and this place is the best . They are a small restaurant store front inside the Hmart Plaza food court . A real hidden Gem ! Delicious, fresh and nice portion. I highly recommend if you want an official Hot Stone . I love that that the staff know me here and what I get . I feel like a regular . You can tell the woman in the back takes pride in her cooking and I love it ! I hit the restaurant and then I hit the Crystal Spa upstairs . It's a great afternoon!

Decent food. It's inside of a shopping mall and is served cafeteria style. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was pretty good. If this review was based solely on value for your money I would probably give this place a four stars. You get a very large portion of soup as well as a side of rice and some Banchan sides. I also saw someone order the Bibimbap which also looked good. I'll probably give that a try next time I am here. Basically this place is above average food but large portions for the price. Great option for a quick and filling lunch.

We were sitting inside the food court with our hmart lunch and the owner of corea bbq told us to sit outside when there were no one inside except for maybe two occupied tables. There were maybe 50 unoccupied tables inside and the owner insisted we leave and sit outside. I'd get it if it were full inside where paying customers needed a table to sit but mannnn there were almost ZERO PATRONS. You just lost a possible customer.

I have been coming here for years for their delicious and balanced meals! My favorite item to get has always been Rice Topped with Raw Fish and Vegetables. They honestly have the best deal for the quality and portion sizes! The lady working in the kitchen is super sweet and always brings a smile to my face whenever we chat! Highly recommend this place for a quick delicious nutritious meal :)

Yikes. They served hot fish on a styrofoam plate which melted by the time it was served. When I asked, “Hey this is unsanitary, the styrofoam literally melted from the heat.” the lady asked me if I was still willing to eat it. I was at loss of words. She was defensive in her customer service as some other reviews pointed out. Their kimchi jjigae uses frozen pork and smells a lot. I’d rather recommend you go to Hmart and grab kimbab than going here.

Always wonderful food !My favorite spot for the short beef rib soup.BETTER than any standing Korean Soup store outside of the mall (this is in the Zion mall food court - if anyone is wondering) They give you extra soy sauce dip + wasabi However, lately it looks like they are severely short staff -- only one Korean lady who seems harassed but cooks & serve at the same time.So I made sure to decide quickly & get out of the way

2022-05 update. Ok, so the prices are up everywhere. Foods are expensive and are getting smaller. That said, this place serves decent Korean meals for reasonable prices. I come to Equitable building next door, so I used to eat in different restaurants in this food court. This place always had above average food for the price. I mean, this type of place is similar to McDonalds for Korean meals. If you haven't try this place in a while, give it a try once more. I was pleasantly surprised when I had 3 items to go. Yook Gae Jang, Kimchi rice, & Omelet rice.

It's a waste of money. Do not go. There were only 7 pieces of pork cutlet...and the food was tasteless.

We used to like this place a lot and have gone here more than 10 times. The last time we came here, we got kimchi fried rice and gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup). The kimchi fried rice was good but the gamjatang had only 2 potatoes. And the potatoes were not even potatoes, they looked like shriveled yellow tofu. It was so awful and we told them the state of the "potatoes" and they did not care one bit. So we won't be coming here anymore.
