I went to the Cort Restaurant Sunday Evening. The waiter was great. His service was great. I can't remember his name. He was a black Gentleman who been working there about 7 months. The food was good , but what surprised me was the extra service charge that was on the bill. I didn't notice it on the menu butIthought it was a bit excessive. Also we wanted to order the kids meal wing and fries extra to go along with our order and was told that we couldn't because we didn't have kids there with us. It shouldn't matter if we're spending money we should be able to order what we want. We couldn't take food home to our daughter.

Not good. At all.
We ordered the chicken and peach cobbler waffles and the burrito with the lobster, shrimp and whatever else was in it. Nothing exceptional nor memorable about the food here.
This is certainly not food cooked with love or skills. Extremely disappointing.

The food was fire! Our waitress was pretty cool as well. The atmosphere and music was hitting and I highly recommend checking it out.
Parking is a lil tight but promise you it’s worth it.
I got the Peach Cobbler French Toast and the Bleu burrito were A1

A friend recommended this spot for brunch, and while the food made it completely worth it, parking was a bit tricky at first. We initially looked within the complex, which surprisingly has no parking, but eventually found street parking nearby. Once we arrived, there was about a 20-minute wait. They do not take reservations, so you have to put your name and phone number down, and they text you when your table is ready. We walked around while waiting, which helped pass the time.
Once we were seated, the service was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming, and I believe the restaurant is Black-owned, which I absolutely love. I enjoyed it so much my first visit that I came back two more times with different friends because I wanted everyone to experience it.
The chicken and waffles are some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken is incredibly well seasoned. I always order it extra crispy and it never disappoints. The waffles are also delicious, with several flavor options. I usually stick to the original plain waffle, which is amazing on its own, especially with the brown sugar butter. They also offer a sweet potato waffle, which is one of their best sellers. My friend tried it and loved it.
The drinks are another highlight. We usually order either the mimosa flight or the sangria flight. They are flavorful, fun, and perfect for brunch. I would 110% recommend this place. Just be prepared for limited parking and a wait, especially on the weekends.

Hands-down. This place NEVER disappoints. Catfish and grits is my go-to! Every dish is delicious. Ambience is chill with smooth RnB tunes. The wait staff are cordial and extremely accommodating.

Came in on my birthday at 3pm, they close at 4, already had chairs up and told us that they couldn’t make the food depending on what we wanted because they already started to clean the grill. My thing is tho if you close at 4, why are you cleaning an hour early and telling customers that you can’t cook certain foods? So we left and I was very disappointed because they were black owned and I planned a birthday brunch there just to not get served.
