Extremely disappointed after all the hype. Yes, the raw crab and uni look great on social media, but reality doesn’t match the photos or the price. The marinated crab was way too salty and overly sweet, completely masking any natural crab flavor. The uni rice? Tiny portion for the outrageous price — tasted bitter and definitely not fresh like they claim. The worst part? The service. Staff were rude and dismissive, clearly overwhelmed by the crowds they can’t manage. We waited nearly an hour, only to be rushed through the meal like we were an inconvenience. Not to mention the cramped, uncomfortable seating. For the money you spend here, you’d expect fresh, high-quality seafood and decent service — sadly, neither delivered. If you’re craving Korean raw crab, save your wallet and your stomach and look elsewhere. This place is all hype, no substance.

I recently dined at Crab House LA and had a delightful experience! The restaurant has a homey decor that makes you feel right in Korean We ordered a variety of dishes, but the standout for me was definitely the uni – we each got our own plate and it was absolutely delicious!
The seafood, especially the marinated dishes, was flavorful and well-prepared. However, we did notice that since we arrived at 9 PM, the staff started clearing up by 9:50 PM, lifting chairs and getting ready to close. While we understood the situation as we were the last table, it did feel a bit rushed.
Overall, a great place for seafood lovers, especially if you’re a fan of uni!

I prefer the Korean crab than the spicy one. The overall quality is good. It is different from the raw crab or shrimp in Chaoshan, which I like more. The Korean crab tastes sweet to me but it is perfect when I ate it together with rice. I will not recommend the spicy raw crab. The urchine rice was also delicious, and I recommend one for each person!

Pretty good. ~60 per person with two friends.
Came here because of its reputation, I really don’t care.

Not fresh. I think it was good at one point but just look at the picture of the crab.
uni was supposed to be fresh but tasted pretty bad. So sad this place was underwhelming.

It’s a very unpalatable and very low cost-effective restaurant. It costs 420 dollars for 5 people. The dishes are as shown in the picture, and there are a few side dishes that are uncomfortable to look at. Two plates of crabs plus 2 sea urchins on rice, and a portion of beef. That’s it, 420 dollars. What about grabbing money?
I didn't know it was a Korean restaurant at first, and thought it was Chaoshan's raw pickled food. I was full of expectations, but I was disappointed. The crab was very salty, and the chef did not suppress the fishy smell. The beef was very sweet. It was the first time I ate pure sweet beef and I felt nauseated. Almost every dish was light. I stopped after I tasted it. I wished I could throw away my chopsticks immediately. The whole meal was torture. It was really because I was eating with friends. If I were alone, I would really put down my chopsticks and pay the bill and walk away. I will never set foot in this restaurant. It’s so bad. It’s a fighter among the worst.
When I had time, I went to Xiaohongshu to search for your store. The reviews were completely polarized. It’s really wonderful. The real reviews were all negative. They all blamed the damn marketing account for making random recommendations regardless of the real taste. Since 2021, there have been negative reviews all over the place. How can you still be in business? How much promotion have you done with the dirty money earned from high-priced dishes? The crab roe is black, the pickling is very salty and stale, and heavy soy sauce is used to cover up the fishy smell of the ingredients. There is no worse merchant than you. Please be a human being.
A ridiculously bad and overpriced restaurant—5 people, $420. The dishes are as shown in the picture: a few unappetizing side dishes, two plates of crab, two sea urchin rice bowls, and a portion of beef. That’s it. $420? Daylight robbery.
At first, I didn’t realize it was a Korean restaurant; I thought it was Teochew-style marinated seafood and was full of anticipation. But it was a huge disappointment. The crab was extremely salty, and the chef failed to suppress the fishy taste. The beef was overly sweet—pure sweetness, which was nauseating. I had never tasted beef like that before. Almost every dish was barely edible, making me want to throw down my chopsticks immediately. friends, I would have put down my chopsticks, paid, and walked out without a second thought. Absolutely terrible—the worst of the worst.

Must vist place for soy souced raw crab. It is not too salty but good taste for the raw crab lovers. One crab one person. Spicy crab is less fresh tasted than soy one.

several years ago the fish soups were incredibly delicious. Last night just a few chunks of fish and veggies on a bowl of weak spicey soup. I had to apologize to my guests. Go there only if you want raw crab dish.
