This is literally the best bar in LA!! If you’ve ever watched Cheers, Crawford’s is where you go and every body knows your name. The best food, THE BEST SERVICE ❤️❤️, the best pool play in town hands down. Glad there’s no alcohol here so I can stay longer!!

I was recommended to come here for a chicken sandwich, and it was not disappointing! I don't usually go to pubs, but a chicken sandwich in a pub is a new concept to me. We ordered both a hot chicken sandwich, a regular chicken sandwich, and mac n cheese. This is what I think about it! Hot Chicken Sandwich - I was a little too afraid to try it. I could eat spicy food, but I'm a little too afraid of the spices of a hot chicken sandwich. First taste, it had a nice kick, but I think it's friendly enough for most people to eat this level of spiciness. The chicken was perfectly fried, with a crispy texture breading and very tender inside. This hot chicken sandwich was a little different from all the other one I had before. It was more smokey and fragrant. It was also tangy and rich but not over-powering because the slaw helped balance the overall flavor. I really liked that it was rich but not overly oily. Do we need to talk about the buns? Brioche buns are always the go to for burgers/sandwiches. Regular Chicken Sandwich - This was pretty much the same as hot chicken just without the spice. Though it was a regular chicken, it was still flavorful. The sauce was sweet and creamy. It was perfect for the sandwich. The slaw and tomatoes added a nice texture and refreshment to the dish. The regular chicken sandwich is perfect for people who don't like spicy food. Mac N Cheese - I really really like the Mac N cheese here. All the pasta was covered with cheese but just enough for it to not be watery and overpoured on the cheese. The pasta was cooked andante. The flavor was rich and sharp. It was nice to have it paired with the hot chicken, it gave a nice flavor contrast and to rest your palate. All in all, I liked this place a lot. Good food with a good drink. I really like the outdoor seating area. There is a little concern about the parking though. It was a bit hard to navigate when you parked by the Taco Bell parking lots. The parking there was very limited. There is a parking lot across the street from Crawford's, but I don't know if that is restricted to Tommy's customers only.

I love the chicken but they don't have ranch dressing so I've been hiding packets of Hidden Valley ranch all around.Whoever stole the one I taped under the pool table I'm not mad or anything but can we have a take a ranch leave a ranch type thing going?

Great dive bar that's hung on for years. First came here a decade ago and barely anything has changed (in a good way). The beers are still great and the fried chicken is still delish! $15 meal is unbeatable. Ps- spicy is not that spicy, so man up!

Great bar tucked behind Taco Bell. Pool tables, but I've never seen them remotely approachable so I'm guessing you have to be a regular or really on your game to grab a table. Indoor seating packs up quickly. I've heard great things about the food, but I don't eat meat and they've been out of the Mac n cheese every time I've gone. Great for just a casual drink with friends.

This place is WAY overrated. Scensters just WANT this place to be good. Beer, pool, and fried chicken is conceptually a HIP and cool idea in a neighborhood that's not yet gentrified. It's literally a bunch of white people buying $8 beers in an overwhelmingly Hispanic neighborhood. Unfortunately, the food is unmemorable. The sweet potato waffle fries were overdone to the point of being inedible. The cole slaw was too sweet, swimming in wet mayo, and was disgusting. The chicken came out hot and freshly made to order, and the crispy and batter was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the chicken itself was not buttermilk marinated or brined overnight. It's just raw chicken dredged in spiced flour, which is fine, but the chicken meat tasted like nothing, just weird chicken. The mac and cheese was good. Next time I'll just go to Dave's Hot Chicken or Starbird instead.

Decided to drop in seeing as it was the closest bar to where I was staying in town and the service and food was mid at best, nonchalant and dickish bartender, subpar fried chicken, and weird clientel. Note to staff: If you want to market real fried chicken, take some notes from people who cook fried chicken on the regular and learn to treat people a little more kindly. Especially when they're from out of town.
