My boyfriend and I just celebrated 25 years as a couple at the beautiful Crossroads restaurant. the hostess was sweet and gave us a great table. The service all around was excellent. The food was incredible as usual. We got the marsala with impossible chicken. The sauce was perfect. And we got a side of mashed potatoes with that which is the perfect compliment. We really enjoyed our Kale Caesar salad. And the pepperoni pizza. Topped off with a wonderful chocolate sundae And a cup of delicious strong coffee. The energy in the restaurant was electrifying on this Valentine's weekend. One of my favorite things was the music (from the 60s) that they were playing. It fit the vibe perfectly. It was lovely to meet the managers, David and Miriam. They were both incredibly kind. The bartenders are very sweet as well. Honestly it was one of the best dinners and experiences at a restaurant that I've had in a very long time. Thank you everyone at Crossroads! We'll be back! ❤️

Outstanding, imaginative vegan dishes beautifully prepared and presented. The service was personal and outstanding as well.

There is a reason Crossroads Kitchen has won best vegan awards! Enjoyed the squash blossom and arancini appetizers and the pizza special and vodka rigatoni with chicken parmesean (a must as we order this every time), so good! Make a reservation to ensure you get a table - great place!

Here's a clean, polished lunch review you can drop straight into Yelp, Google, or socials: > Lunch at Crossroads Kitchen on Melrose was a total win. I brought three guests—each new to plant-based dining—and every one of them left impressed by how indulgent, satisfying, and thoughtfully executed the food was--without animal protein!. Chef Tal never disappoints; the menu is consistently inspired and beautifully done. We had a terrific server, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and were reminded once again why Crossroads sets the standard for exceptional food--that just happens to be plant-based. Looking forward to returning soon.

Another fabulous evening at Crossroads Kitchen! Tonight we splurged a bit and went for the Truffle Prix Fixe meal. So glad we did. From appetizer to dessert we were feted with delicious food in generous portions for a 5 course meal and superb service. Of note, the truffle pizza is to die for. Like we were dining in Italy with the thin crust with charred edges and just enough artisanal toppings to whet the palate for the meal to come. I could make dinner of that pizza every night! The beet salad was a refreshing change of flavor. The pasta course, mounded with fresh shaved truffles was rich and filling, so much so I save it for a to go box. Same with the eggplant entree, though those truffled crisped potatoes are so addictive it was challenging not to eat them all. For dessert we opted for the Brownie sundae which we had no choice but to eat up! Hubby and I both had enough leftovers for dinner the next night. Looking forward to our next visit which is always a stellar event.

Crossroads Kitchen, the crown jewel of plant-based dining in LA, consistently tops the list of the nation’s best vegan restaurants. The vibe is understated elegance—moody lighting, plush booths, and a chic energy that’s quintessentially LA. Crossroads celebrates Mediterranean flavors with a soulful touch and delivers a dining experience that is sophisticated and delicious. If you’re in doubt, try the house made italian sausage (GF). So good! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-04

Had lunch at the bar (have had dinner at Vegas location). So tasty. Caesar salad starter and the “bowl” with so many fresh, tasty vegetables. Great service! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-15

Very good atmosphere, The food is okay, but if you're not used to vegan food you may not be familiar with the taste and texture. Good for meeting with friends if they have dietary restrictions. Seats are however relatively limited, so make sure to reserve a table before you come!

I came here last night with two friends and even though I’m not vegan, the food was great and I loved the atmosphere and decor so much. The fresh lilies were beautiful ;)

This is definitely the best vegan restaurant in town. It is a must for any vegan or non-vegan plant based traveler it’s in my neighborhood so it’s my local go to vegan restaurant when I want to go to ambience and excellent food.

Being greeted by Miriam and David start the visit off perfectly. We always dine at the bar, and Matt, Cindy, Brian, and Dennis always make our experience special. The stop by visits from the rest of the team always make us feel like we’re at our Cheers, except vegan (the only way we’d have it).

The mediocre service really does a disservice to how delicious the food is.

7 course tasting menu for 12/27/25 consisting of:
* cauliflower soup
* golden beets & poached pears
* stuffed zucchini blossoms
* roasted honeynut squash
* celery root & chestnut tortellini
* eggplant short rib or lionsmane steak

While the food was executed impeccably, the service was sorely lacking. At a $175/person price point, one should expect better service. We actually waited upwards of 20 minutes in-between courses and ended up stacking the plates for the waiters to take off the table.

MANSPLAINATION: when guests are stacking the plates for the waiters, this denotes poor service!

We received a Crossroads cookbook and/or T-shirt for that $175/person price. We met the chef de cuisine for that night. I typically leave a decent tip, but I was appalled by the LACK of service and left $0 tip. The waiter came to the car to inquire about the $0 tip and someone in the party handed him $50.

MANSPLAINATION: when you see $0 tip, it means you did a BAD job.

First time here. We booked the 7 course tasting menu. Food was really good and the mocktail was nice. Service was only decent. We were already stacking plates before the server would come take them away.
The fried zucchini thing was really good.
