I liked the pot pie a lot. I just wish it didn’t have so many mixed vegetables in it. I hate mixed vegetables with a passion 😂. I feel like the beef one should just be beef and potato.
The crust is top tier though!
Five-Star Review for Crustees in LA
Crustees is hands-down one of the best culinary gems in LA! Every dish here is crafted with care and packed with flavor. The Shepherd’s Pie is nothing short of perfection – hearty, savory, and comforting in every bite. And don’t even get me started on the Key Lime Pie – it tastes so authentic that you’d swear it was flown in straight from Key West!
The Chicken Pot Pie is a timeless classic – flaky, rich, and absolutely satisfying. Pairing the Chili with the Jalapeño Cornbread is a stroke of genius – the perfect balance of warmth and spice that leaves you wanting more.
And if you’re ordering the Peach Cobbler, do yourself a favor and get two scoops of ice cream – because, why not? The sweetness and buttery crust paired with the cool, creamy ice cream is pure indulgence.
Honestly, I recommend you come here and try everything on the menu. Crustees doesn’t just make food – they make comfort. Five stars all the way!
Their chilli is delicious 😋 and they have amazing customer service. But please stay away from their banana pudding it is horrible 😫😫 tastes like jello pudding... waaaay to sweet... wafers were soggy... 1 slice of banana (literally one tiny slice) BUT... THE CHILI AND they have this strawberry 🍓 peach 🍑 lemonade 🍋 that is sooo good! Oh the cornbread is delicious too 🥰
I have not been to the restaurant, but I buy the key lime pie from Handy Market in Burbank. This is the best key lime pie in LA.
Very polite and attentive staff. The Shepherds pie was very delicious I’ll have to come bacc and try some of the desserts.
Nestled in Slauson and Overhill is the Quaint little Restaurant called Crustee… it’s like Heaven on Earth . This little Guilty pleasure has the most Delicious Food and Dessert 🍮 they have Peach cobbler, Key lime Pie, Apple Pie, Shepherd Pie, Veggie Pot Pie, Gumbo, Banana Nut Pie… the list goes on…

It’s all about the crust! And Crustees is it!
The pies are absolutely delicious. And if you are a gumbo lover ask for a sample - it is really good
This place is really good! Best peach cobbler in la it tastes homemade always fresh peaches and flaky warm crust! I usually just get a cobbler but today I stumbled across their turkey chili so I got the turkey chili rice and cornbread. The chili was delicious, and the rice was delicious and fresh as well! The cornbread was plain but when mixed with the chili and rice it makes sense. When I walked in the cashier KIARA was helping someone else and I was off to the side looking at the menu so when she finished another customer walked up to the register ready to place his order and she politely said I was next in line. It may seem minor but her acknowledging my presence avoided a potentially awkward encounter. I was getting ready to tell him I was in line but she handled it! She was really nice and it seems like she might be new she seemed nervous as I was leaving 3-4 people walked in. I’m leaving this review to let you all know she gave me amazing customer service and to continue ensuring her she’s doing a great job. You don’t have to get every customer in and out right away it’s okay if people wait a few minutes that way you minimize errors and unnecessary stress. The chili rice and cornbread is gone but here is the cobbler
Dawn is doing the community justice. Great customer service. She really cares about her customers. The potpies are delicious. Crust seasoned and warm. I enjoyed the gumbo and rice very much. And the Chili is delicious! I recommend everyone go here it's a must for the community.
Delicious!
That's all I got to say. Period. . . I'll be coming back.
Delicious!

Everything we ordered was delicious. Donna was super friendly and offered samples to help us narrow down our selections when we could not decide between the great options. We ordered pies to take home and can’t wait to eat them. We will absolutely be back!

Their pies are mislabelled at the Beverly Hills Farmers Market two weeks in a row. It's summer, so of course I picked up what I thought was peach cobbler, bc that what the label said it was. But they use apples instead and it's also not a cobbler. They are just pies, with barely any peaches inside. And no crumbles on top either. Ugh! Never again!

OK, this is my first time coming to this establishment. I was referred for my uncle. I did not see I wasn’t looking for they do not take cash. I’m speaking to the owner at this time and I’m like well. I have the cash. Can you do it this one time he wouldn’t even do it, I’m not gonna pass up any money in business there’s gonna be a lot of people that have to get used to only card payments but if you’re the owner, you should be able one time to take the cash. I felt some kind of way executive decision is what it’s called.
AWSOME!!¡
