I’ve have been trying to get help with the paperwork of stage 1 and I can never get a call back! The people that answer always transfer me and it goes straight to voicemail every time. It’s been 2 months of me just trying to get help. This has all been very confusing.
I am not sure who answers the phones , but the customer service is horrible. I am not too sure why people who are having a rough day answer these phones ? When told I couldn’t receive the program I proceeded to ask what’s an alternative? And got zero help or assistance very careless. When hanging up I said okay then you for your help and just got hung up on no bye your welcome nothing. The attitudes here is probably why there’s no funding … hire people who are enthusiastic and helpful please ..
Thanks for all you guys do
I always receive great customer service
The funding is great, the case workers and Supervisors are difficult to work with. It's rare to have a good worker assigned to your case. Emails go unanswered, phone calls never get returned, paper work gets ignored, payment are declined because of the inability for the worker to process your claims within their adequate time frame. I had a supervised attempt to decline payment to my child's daycare because The supervisor themselves and their worker BOTH neglected to process change in provider form eventhough I submitted it with over a month advance notice! My recommendation is always be sure to get the supervisor's email information and cc them on all emails so everyone is accountable for their subpar work ethics.
Friendly clean fast amazing people
I would first like to start my message by making it clear that I am truly grateful for you all being an addition in my child’s growth and development. It was great to see how much she and all the other students were cared for. While the above sentiment is true, it was brought to my attention yesterday that some details regarding Friday’s incident were not true. 1. I never used foul language towards anyone at the facility. Unfortunately you never got to know me, so you don’t know, but I don’t use profanity in front children nor would I ever in an educational environment. There’s so many factors that makes this claim untrue. The point is, I did not cuss at any of the staff on this day. 2. I did not raise my voice or yell at anyone. I am happy to go over the interaction for whoever would like to hear it again using the same mannerisms and dialect that were used on Friday. I admit, as I did yesterday, I got smart first and then there was a petty back and forth argument between Mrs. Kendra , the site supervisor, and I. However, none of us raised our voices. 3. I was informed that the site supervisor was unreachable before I travelled all the way to my daughter’s school to pick her up while her aunt was already there. However, she was very much so present. Perhaps the situation was frustrating for all involved, however, that is no reason to lie. Growing as an educator means that you have integrity and morals. Also, it is important to not put every parent in a bubble and categorize them to fit your agenda. I did not behave in a ghetto or belligerent manner, such as what was falsely described because those actions do not resonate with my character. It was important for me to clear my name. Also, I do apologize for allowing my frustration to activate the back and forth interaction. I am aware of what I believe I should’ve done differently. Have a good one, Alyssa Brooks
Miss Guy was extremely rude and said she would help me with my paperwork only to ignore me and belittle me multiple times when I came back with my referral. But thank you to the office assistant who did have understanding and want to help. Can’t say the same for the supervisor Miss Guy
ITS BEEN TWO FREAKING WEEKS ANA BERMUDEZ HAS NOT ANSWER, FOLLOWED UP, CALLED OR EMAILED BACK!!!!!!! how are you going to say we are eligible for stage 1 and then proceed to expedite our case, and in the FINAL PROCESS, NOT RESPOND TO ANY VOICEMAILS OR THE EMAIL I SENT OF THE DOCUMENTS OF THE PROVIDER?!?!?!!??! DO BETTER CRYSTAL STAIRS
Literally horrible can’t even talk to someone that would help with my case, it’s been two whole weeks, I call EVERYDAY . Some how, they are NEVER AVAILABLE OR at there desk. It’s an inconvenient for families they are suppose to be helping. It’s been past the 48 hour mark NO CALL. IVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO SUPERVISORS. NO CALL BACK ! Continuously for TWO WEEKS. how isn’t anybody available for that long? Especially when it’s STAGE 1 !
God sent gift…

This company allows child cares to commit fraud when they are provided proof. They allowed Gods precious little Angels day care to sign my name on paperwork knowing the signatures do not match. They refused to allow me to switch providers from that shady daycare.
I am highly disappointed in Crystal Stairs. As a provider I expect to be notified when the services will be terminated, the worker over my case was very rude and argumentative. She claim to have sent out the letter of termination but neither the parent or provider received it. Her only advice was to check with the post office and I explained to her so I been receiving all my check stubs but the termination letter to the parent and provider was not received. This worker did not let the parent know beforehand that she needed to apply to stage 2, and even her boss said that she was supposed to let the parent know before the case was terminated. This is my primary job and its very sad and unfortunate that you guys do not care about the providers livelihood.
Don’t work with Crystal stairs agency they don’t pay you what it is as a child care provider full time they don’t pay what it is
Thank you to this program my daughter, single mom , can go to work a place my grandson in the care center without worries about money, time and safety. I am so thankful since I don't live in California.Thank you !!!!
I'm the parent and have been approved since 2/23. I still don't have Crystal Stairs because the provider's worker is not doing her job. She's lazy, don't keep the provider updated on anything, she lies, rude, she doesn't respond to voicemails or emails. It's 7 months later and I'm still without Crystal Stairs.
