Yummy Onigiri! Great for a light meal. The eel was tasty and there was the right balance of rice. I thought the spicy tuna was like that found in a poke place but it was more like the tuna you would use in a tuna fish sandwich. Still good though.

The eel, karage, and snowcrab onigiris were delicious. Onigiri filling was generous throughout. It was topped with a visually pleasing display of the filling on top of the onigiri itself.
They don't have the option of water cups available.

The Tsukemen broth tasted like old lard. The eel onigiri still had bones in it. I left disappointed and hungry worst $70 plus tip (for 2 people) I’ve ever spent.

Ended up stopping here due to really long line at the main restaurant. Kiosk took a bit of work to get through for larger party. Ramen and Katsudon came out quickly and was very good.

It’s great to see a spot dedicated to fresh, authentic onigiri. They offer a large and excellent variety on the menu, making it easy to find something for everyone. Perfect for a quick and delicious snack in Little Tokyo. A must-visit!

Quick pickup was so great and my food so well packaged. I was so excited for a soul warming ramen. But it was cold. I literally picked it up the moment it was ready, walked across the street and ate the food within minutes and it was cold. For an almost 50 dollar bill for two ramen and an appetizer I would hope for a nice hot or even warm bowl of ramen.

I've gone to this location. Plenty of times usually eat inside. This is my second time ordering to go. The first time was the same as eating inside. This second time was a bit different, because we had to go next door to annex. And the food was not the the same at all the chicken teriyaki was lacking teriyaki. I will order once more to go. If it's the same I will rewrite if it's the same.

Restaurantji Recommends
This is the store for takeout but they have few tables for dine-in. Foods are served in to-go boxes. The original Daikokuya is next to it, wish we knew that before ordering. food is little below average.
Happy to see an onigiri space! There was a lot more rice than meintako but it was made to order which was nice. They have machines to take your order so it’s easy.

I ordered the Daikokuya ramen and asked for firm noodles. Instead, I received the mushiest ramen I’ve ever tasted, not only during all the time I have been ordering from Daikokuya but these were without a doubt the slimiest, most disgusting noodles from any restaurant I have ever visited.

Not entirely if it’s the same location bc other pictures show having actual plates (we had to eat in take out bc they said they didn’t do plates).
