Specialty cocktail was yummy and refreshing. Ambiance is fabulous and service was a delight. The endive salad lacked flavor and needed more Asiago cheese. We enjoyed the Octopus carpaccio. They were out of the swordfish that I ordered, so I opted for the branzino. It seemed a tad undercooked perhaps, but the veggies on top were really nice. Hubby's clam linguini was bland. I would like to try this place again and have the caprese and the swordfish when it is back in stock.
It was like being back in Milan. A great space that was packed but still easy enough to hear a conversation at your table. The staff was welcoming and let you enjoy a leisurely two hour meal. The wine list was tremendous, tough to narrow it down to one bottle. As for the food, spectacular... portions were big, so much so that we took home plenty of tasty leftovers. My favorite, a dish I never turn down, the Osso Buco.
Loved the ambiance, the seating and noise level was great for conversation. Loved the pate, bruschetta and the risotto. The wine list had a great selection of Italian wines. Would definitely recommend
Dal Milanese is an absolute gem in the heart of Los Feliz! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication. We chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, based on glowing recommendations from her Milanese friends, and we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable, with our server exemplifying kindness and attentiveness throughout our meal. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with chic decor and delightful Italian music setting the perfect backdrop for our dining experience. Now, onto the star of the show – the food! We indulged in a feast for the senses, starting with the Italian Classic salad, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. The Burrata E Crudo was a heavenly combination of creamy and savory, while the Spaghetti Tomato & Basil transported us straight to the streets of Italy with its perfectly al dente pasta and vibrant sauce. To complement our meal, we ventured into the world of orange wine, and it was a delightful discovery – different, yet undeniably delicious! But the true highlight of the evening was the special touch at the end – a decadent gelato dessert adorned with a candle for my mother-in-law to blow out. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly elevated our dining experience and left us with hearts full of gratitude. In conclusion, Dal Milanese exceeded all expectations and delivered a culinary journey that we won't soon forget. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply in search of authentic Italian cuisine in a modern and chic setting, this restaurant comes highly recommended. Grazie mille for a truly unforgettable experience!

Beautiful ambience and the food is amazing! The kitchen is right there and you can see the chef cooking! The staff is very attentive and kind and they have live music on Tuesdays!I had the fiori di zucchina and the filet mignon, totally recommend those! And the fruit tartelletta was the perfect closure. Will be back!

What a great place. My wife and I are Italians living in LA, and it is our fourth time here. The food is awesome, real Italian, not americanized. Service is great, great atmosphere. If you really want a taste of Northern Italy, then check this place, it is worth it. Try the polenta and porcini mushrooms, or the octopus carpaccio, or the risotto. You'll love it.

The musical performance was amazing, other than that I wouldn't go back. The food didn't make us feel good, the waiter was snarky and the vibe was off. Thank goodness for a great band.

Food is always amazing. My only complaint is it feels like I didn't even have a waiter when I was sitting at the bar. Felt like I had to search out for help if I wanted to order.
everything was just perfect. we were just sad that there weren't more diners as would hate to see this excellent spot go under. we were very satisfied with the meal so declined dessert, so the waiter poured a shot of Sicilian wine that just hit the spot. very lovely experience.

Two of three of my dining experiences at Dal Milanese so far have included live music. Every entree and even dessert I've ordered has been delicious and my current favorite pasta is the Ravioli Ricotta and Spinach! The ambiance is romantic with a comfortable environment to sit and relax in, and an elegant choice to meet up and wine and dine with friends. Overall, there's always something new to try and dining at Dal Milanese is a tasty and pleasant experience!
The room is very nice, the music is great, the wine and dessert were very good. Unfortunately, the food is not. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers, endive salad, risotto a La Milanese, and gnocchi with arugula pesto. It appears no one tastes this food prior to being served. Under-seasoned, no acidity or salt, and the gnocchi were swimming in the sauce. Risotto tasted like burnt plastic. I'm sorry I cannot have a better review, we really wanted to like the place. Someone needs to pay attention in the kitchen.
A fantastic environment to feel at

Great service. Beautiful restaurant. Lovely ambiance. 2nd visit since they opened last year. The bread is warm and delicious. Authentic olive oil made for a nice start. The wine was just ok. The Squash blossoms were a bit dry. The pasta was more like red sauce soup with undercooked noodles. A bit disappointing. The Food could be better. I will be back and try something else, but the basics I think could be improved upon.
We tried this spot a few weeks after its opening and hoped they'd work the kinks out, but unfortunately our second visit many months later was no better than the first. First the pluses, which are the ambiance and prices which are relatively reasonable. But the service is spotty overall, and the food is just ok, at times it seems no one is tasting any of the food as it leaves the kitchen. It's a bummer.
