I’m sure the food is great. Chef Antonia is five stars. Didn’t know any better ther way to tell her. She was robbed on TOC. You are an inspiration to everyone you come in contact with. Keep doing what you do and F the negativity. Stay safe and thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

A little loud, so great to go with a lot of people. Not so much for a two person romantic dinner if you want quiet and intimacy, but food and service were excellent. And the drinks, we'll, is come back for the drinks alone! Reservations suggested, but if not they have spots up atb their beautiful bar.

DAMA is one of my favorite restaurants. All the food options are really great, the drinks are well-made, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is very nice. It's a beautiful restaurant and the bar is really cool. The service is always very friendly and welcoming. Lastly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I come for the food and drinks, then keep coming back because of the ambience and great service.

Mediocre service, good food that would be worth it if coursed even remotely reasonably. As it was, we felt rushed, ignored, and disappointed. The bar program leans sweet on cocktails, nothing unique or even particularly well executed. That is, when you're not waiting for 20 minutes for them to arrive. If you came here (I wouldn't again) stick to the wine or beer. We had the seafood tostada, whipped beans, squash blossom (fried), charred gem salad, and lamb. Each would have been improved if coursed out appropriately, instead they all arrived over 20 minutes, leaving little time to eat or enjoy before the next plate crowded the table and began to come to room temperature. Plates and cups also piled up over the meal, making the poor coursing even worse given the limited real estate.Worth a visit and a try, but not for anything important or if you want to impress.

Reception and Director of Ops (Mario) completely ruined our evening. They sat us in a 4-top that couldn’t accommodate a 5th chair when we clearly told them our friend was coming later to join us for drinks. We didn’t know this when we sat down. Came to find out later that our friend had been waiting at the front for over 20 minutes while some of the wait staff tried to figure out the seating. Some wait staff came around at 8:15p trying to figure out the chair situation - this is also when they told us our friend has arrived (told us 15 mins after he arrived!?). After a couple of minutes of fussing, the Director of Ops (Mario) came over and decided a 5th chair can’t be placed at our table and suggested our friend sit at the bar 10-feet away. ?! He insisted we said our friend wasn’t coming when we clearly told him he was joining us later for drinks. He did not hear us, but insisted that we were were lying and that we told him he wasn’t coming. Huh? The maddening part is that at the end of the table where a chair/person would have fit, there was a gigantic planter that stuck out 2-3 ft from the edge of the table. Why could our friend be in the place of the planter? It would have been a smaller footprint, in fact. The Director of Ops was atrocious and had zero interest in solving this problem that he created for us. He said no to the 5th chair, told us we didn’t tell him what we told him (that we were lying, basically), and just walked off. After he/others walked off, we were just stunned at what had just happened. And then it dawned on us…where’s our friend? I had to go up front to inquire about our friend who again we discovered had been prevented from walking over to us because they couldn’t place a 5th chair at our table. We left furious. Absolutely furious. Not the evening we were expecting when we booked Dama. Absolute shame.

I noted a peanut allergy on the reservation, the website and physical menu in the restaurant make zero mention they cook with peanut oil. This seems careless and irresponsible to not flag this anywhere!! Luckily I asked the waiter. But I wouldn't have come here otherwise. do better

Came here on a weekend for a birthday dinner with a party of 5. We had made reservations and were promptly seated when we arrived. We ordered a few cocktails and ordered the following: Food: -Whipped beans-Bread-Crispy potatoes-Charred octopus-Paella (Veggie)-Crispy pork shankThe food tasted great but they are definitely on the pricier side. The decor and lighting are conducive to an intimate dining experience. The service was okay but could have been better. The only notable con of my experience here was that the food was brought out one dish at a time. The table felt barren and did not feel like a complete dining experience. Our conservations were constantly interrupted with the food being dropped off intermittently and rather brusquely. Parking: Valet parking is $15 or you can try finding street parking (not in the best area)

Came to LA for a bacherloette party, and we had dinner here for one of the nights. We made reservations for a party of 7 prior to the trip, and I'm glad we did, because this place is beautiful with amazing food.We sat in the covered patio area, and the seats were very cushiony. For food, we ordered a wide selction: for small plates, we ordered the corrn, Aguachiles?, Guacamole, Octopus dish, and potatoes. As for the big plates, we ordered the Paella and chicken dish. Everything came out delicious and a good amount of food. The only one that was slightly disappointing was the Octopus -- the flavor was good, but there was barely any Octopus in the dish.As for drinks, I ordered a French 75 and it was perfect. Overall, the dining experience was great - amazing food, environment, and service.
