Danbi is an elegant, chic, and modern restaurant in Los Angeles's Korea Town, offering delicious modern takes on Korean food. The space is ultra hip, beautifully decorated, and low lit with a darker, electric vibe, setting the perfect mood for a date night. Service is amazing, friendly, attentive, and helpful.
The food is absolutely delicious and amazing. Standout dishes include the scallion pancake, the cold noodles with a great balance of flavors, the spicy japchae with scallops and shrimp, and the award-winning Wagyu Zabuton, which is perfect and melts after one bite. The uni bibimbap and seafood pancake are also superb. For drinks, the cocktail offering is genius and tasty, featuring popular options like the matchatini, the delectable lycheetini, the hwachae milk drink, barley soju, and a nightcap with coffee flavor. Desserts like the dalgona cheesecake are not too sweet.
Be sure to make a reservation as waits can be long. Valet parking is available at the complex, or there is street parking and a nearby parking structure. The experience is excellent and the price does not kill you, making Danbi a great spot and a favorite restaurant to return to.
