Solid spot for a classic sandwich in DTLA. Always fresh and tasty.

Dear Dan,If that is even the name of your founder. Today a friend of mine was so excited to get the K-Town sammie from your highly commended establishment. However, I later found out that the excitement turned into a deep sadness. The sammie barely had any sustenance, it was 87.43% bread (which was ok quality I am told) and the remainder was "filling" if that is what you want to call it. The sammie left more of an emptiness than an actual feeling of gratification. Please talk to your staff and fix this issue as soon as you can "Dan".Thanks,A concerned freind

Get the best bang for your buck for fresh / quality pasta! You can get a full entree for $15 out the door. Ordered the bolognese and the pesto sauces, both weren't too runny and just the right consistency. Well I think Ive found my takeout pasta spot! There is also outdoor seating area which is quite nice for the summer.

Amazing food. I cannot believe the consistency of the flavors. I used to go here almost every day (moved to the OC) and how I wish they had a restaurant down here. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely going. I just wish they were open 24/7!!!!!!!!!

Delicious (and big) slices, pies, and appetizers (especially the mozzarella sticks)! We love Dan's Deli!

Just had a Boars Head Oven Gold Turkey on 7-Grain with Deli Mustard, lettuce, tomato, chedder, pickes, cucumber, and onion. It was great. Just a bit expensive ($9.00 , no tax added). You won't get out of here without spending at least $9.00. Check in on Yelp today gets you a free soda. But you are getting high quality veggies and meat, unlike Subway. You feel good after this sandwich unlike Subway. Employees were nice, service quick at 2 pm. They wear Boars Head caps to get you in the mood. If you are in the mood for a quality deli sandwich, I would come here again.

If you've never been to Dans Deli before it may be a bit confusing. First, you wait in line to order, people tend to line up against the glass leaving a large space between person ordering and those in line. This may look like they have already ordered - not so. Once you order you go to the other side of the counter where it says Breakfast and pay there. Then you wait till your order is ready. While the flow may be slightly odd everyone is very nice and accommodating should you want to alter any sandwich or create one yourself.

A solid lunch option since they are quick and easy, only serving sandwiches and salads. I tried the Bunker Club and it was ok. There was something oddly sweet about it, I think it was the ham but I'm still not too sure. It was about $13 for a sandwich, pickle, and a small side salad. Not too bad. I will return and perhaps build my own sandwich next time.

Just had the egg and tuna sandwich from Dan's. This is my second time trying them and I have been disappointed both times. Both times now the bread has not been fresh. The first time it was the squaw which just fell apart as soon as I picked it up and now this time it was the croissant that was super hard! Needless to say, they won't get another shot with me. I also called and no one answered.

Solid sandwich shop. I had the Dan's Special: Ham, roast beef, cracked pepper turkey, mozzarella, and spicy mayo.. Served on toasted French roll with tomato, lettuce, onion, and red pepper. Onion was a little much, but easy remedy to remove. Would return. Note: This was part of my MealPal experience. Check out my Mealpal DTLA collection of you want to follow along. If you are scratching your head about MealPal...google it. The meal was not ready for pick-up, but was ready in a few minutes.

Good spot for a breakfast sandwich! Affordable, just order ahead to save time, they get busy in the am.
