Drove down to Santee for a tournament. Was searching for a fast chop shop (something light, cold and refreshing) and came across Dave's. Menu was a bit confusing BUT the staff was extra helpful with my slow a** after a 7hr tournament. Food was great. Got your men/women back there... (winking at you and making you feel like a million dollars after a first degree burn from toasting in the sun). Ordered a fisherman sandwich. Pretty much a tuna sandwich. AMAZING AND REFRESHING. The bean sprouts were the finishing touch on that one. I do wish they would've added one or two more to pickle spears.

Sandwich was as bland as can be. Cashier was nice but owner was so unpleasant. He bragged about what he was taking home to eat to his family and couldn't even acknowledge us as customers and say hello or welcome.

Service was great and our food came out rather quickly. Came here with a friend and she got the chicken caesar wrap and I got the avocado turkey wrap. Both of them were home runs. They come cut in half so we shared each other's sandwich. They have outside seating which is nice. They have plenty of drinks ranging from water to soda and coffee. I will definitely be back and try there other sandwiches.

I love this place!!! The girls are super friendly. They were 9mins to closing time & they still attended me!! I always try to come here when my folks have a Doctor's appointment across the building Roybal. This place never disappoints has fresh quality sandwiches & delicious soups. I highly recommend. Thank You Daves Deli

Dave's deli is located in a small shopping center and easily accessible. It's actually across the street from the east Los Angeles Courthouse- There is space to sit outside and enjoy the sun while you wait or if you decide to eat outside. The deli meats are delicious- made by boars head - you can't go wrong - there are many choices of breads or wraps. Dave's has plenty to choose from to add to your sandwich. BUUUT They have more than sandwiches; there are many delicious foods such as pizza breakfasts and soups! My favorite is the chicken and barley soup is simple yet flavorful and hearty!!! The sizes are 8oz all the way to 32oz to go Along with a side of garlic bread! A definite place to try

I just recently had the pleasure of making a pit stop in Dave's Deli. The creme brule cheese bar was moist and delicious. Pairing it with a caramel iced coffee was a delightful treat to my afternoon. The dining area was a bit boxed in, but comfortable for standing while dining. Thank you to the chef and cashier!

I like there cold sandwich turkey. They just do not give enough meat. B4 Covid they almost gave u enough meat on 1 sandwich to almost make 2 sandwiches. But of course the price has went up.

The sandwiches are packed with a lot of meat and very delicious.The Jr salads are enough for two people. The only problem was the smoothie. I ordered a creamsicle smoothie and it was just orange juice blended with ice.
Ambiance: This place is much smaller than I thought, no seating, and not many places to stand. Kinda gives small corner store deli vibes. Service: Very nice, patient, and helpful. I appreciated the suggestions and advice about my sandwich selection. Food: I went with the Chipotle chicken Philly combo, and I wasn't really impressed. When I heard chicken Philly, I didn't have this in mind, and the bread to filling ratio was off. It ended up just tasting like a regular chicken sandwich with peppers and onions. Overall, the sandwich was decent, just not what I expected.

$14.94 for a turkey wrap? I thought okay, it’s got to be big and full of meat. Definitely not the case. Barely any turkey in the wrap. Quite honestly the most disappointing wrap I’ve ever had. What a rip off

I absolutely love their salads and wraps! The sandwiches have quality ingredients but are not my favorite. I'm not a fan of the toasted sandwich bread. I would much prefer a panini on a roll. The soups are pretty good too.

Very good food, with a large menu.. The service was super slow took forever to get the food . I'm not a huge fan of having to sit and eat outside, but I guess it's better than only having takeout. I would go back here, despite how slow they were the food was worth the value.
