Run down and tired. Convenient if you are staying at the run down and tired Custom Hotel but not worth the effort as a destination

I had the calamari appetizer and had the chicken parmesan. Both came out of the kitchen in great time. The calamari was lightly breaded and nicely seasoned. The portion was very generous and only 6 bucks during happy hour! The main course came out nice and hot. The chicken was moist and the pasta was nicely cooked.

Such a cool ambiance. Will definitely come back every time I'm in Los Angeles. Had the brunch and it was so delicious. Also such a great beer selection. I definitely recommend taking a trip here if you haven't been!

Nobody was here when we stopped by at 4pm on Tuesday but the bartender was cool and I could see how the place could be kind of cool at night.

Cool spot. We usually stay at the hotel before fly out of LAX. The three times we have been here the service was always good.

We have had a long flight to LA and have a long lay over. This little patio restaurant surprised us. Our meals are great proportions. Good flavours. And the bartender welcoming. And prices are decent.

Great outdoor ambience, poor service, food and prices. Go for drinks but nothing else.

6 people total here on a gorgeous night outside, waiting 30 minutes for $23 Salmon Filet which is overpriced due to being a hotel restaurant so one would expect the service would be better.

So my best friend just graduated from LMU on May 6th and had 20+ family members and friends in attendance. As celebration, we decided to go to go to a series of bars in hopes of having a fun night. We started at a bar called "Tomlinson's" (which for the record, was amazing) and then decided to a bar called Deck 33 at about 9:15 pm after checking the hours saying it was opened until midnight. (It was a Saturday night, mind you). So we come up the stairs in a very good mood, excited to continue our night & went to the bar. The lady working told us that they were closing early tonight and that we had to go. Problem #1 with that: If you advertise your business being open until midnight, I can understand you closing a little early if it's slow..but over two hours early on a Saturday night??? That is irrational. And then to be rude about it is a whole separate problem. (See problem #3) Problem #2: You are running a business. Logistically, if 20 people walked in, each wanting a drink, that is a LOT of money and tips. Why would you deny them or not put a sign saying you were closed?? The hotel we walked in directed us exactly to the upstairs bar with seemingly no knowledge that it was closed. Problem #3: When we expressed our disappointment and asked for the reasoning, they told us that my best friend, the graduate, was way too drunk and couldn't even talk or make coherent sentences. .....that was the most irrational lie I've ever heard. Most of us were sober and my friend had only had one mixed drink thus far. She was speaking fine, acting fine, and was not belligerent or incoherent at ALL. After that, I'll admit we popped off. You advertise your hours then close early with no remorse, randomly insult the focal point of our group, & then we told them it didn't make sense business-wise because we were going to stay posted at this bar and tip very generously. They had lost over $150 easily by refusing our business and right after we mentioned tipping, they said "Okay fine. We will serve you ONE round" as if they were doing US a favor. Bye We dipped after that. Very unhappily I might add. And some of us were locals who love bar-hopping in that areas so guess where we're never going again? BINGO, this place. Save your money. Go somewhere where they appreciate their patrons; there are way too many options to waste your time here.

Rooftop Bar located inside the Custom Hotel Happy Hour M-F 5-7 for discounted drinks. Also a pretty solid view for a "Rooftop in Westchester" Place is slow and understaffed. Been about 3 times. Drinks are more than what most people would want to pay when not on happy hour. Bartender was cool and made them strong.I always tip him well. Since it is so slow I try and arrive right when they open (5p) or during off peak hours. I came between 8-10 during the week one night and it was a mess. Understaffed, slow and everyone was upset about their drink and food wait times. Overall, I will be back! (At 5p when doors open for HH)

Staff was very friendly. Restaurant is unique, it's fun to sit overlooking the hotel pool. Only issue is that food is overpriced for the quality.

Well, here I am again. I absolutely LOVE THIS HOTEL! The employees are far beyond phenomenal.. Which is why I continue to return. However, the "Deck 33" TRULY needs to find a REAL Food & Beverage Director!! I had no choice but to stay away this time, as this venue is VERY FREQUENTLY BOOKED for PRIVATE parties. So, if you're thinking of sitting in the sun, poolside, served cocktails... DON'T plan on that! Call first and check bar/pool area availability. Have had bad experiences in the past, wherein it took me 6 weeks to be "partially reimbursed" for a steak that they were sold out of, and the cook ran to Ralph's to purchase and serve. Gave it to the dog. There is NO EXCUSE for this sort of sub-standard service in LA.. Funniest of all on this trip was that the actual Bartendress did NOT EVEN KNOW the bar was closed for a Private Party!!! Rather than her apologize, she simply walked away with HER boss who showed her where the Calendar of Events are. No apology, they just both walked away!!!! Don't get me WRONG HERE! The HOTEL is wonderful, as are the staff, but forget about food and drink here. Get your own at Ralph's. Why do I continue to subject myself?? Because of the Hotel Staff. Brandon, in particular, as well as Adam, Michael, and Marshall are truly TOP NOTCH! Great location, walking distance to everything you need. Just don't think you are going to get any food, drink, or service at Deck 33. That's all. Very unfortunate because they have the ability, just need to clean house and start over with a staff that actually cares.

Cool little outdoor deck bar with lounge areas and firepits. It is part of the Custom Hotel but tucked behind near the pool.
