We had a fantastic experience here. The food was incredible—truly hit the spot and was delicious from start to finish. You can tell the atmosphere is designed with families in mind; it’s remarkably clean and welcoming. To top it off, the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
My food was good. My party was large (10), but the restaurant was virtually empty. The service was sub par. Waitress kept bringing out one item at a time. Took an hour before food started coming out. 2 ppl in my party were late, but got their food first. One person in my party got her food after 1 1/2 hours and the manager tried to blame her for getting her food late, claiming that she made last minute changes to her order, when the waitress or chef had actually made the mistake...
I selected this restaurant because I had friends coming up on the San Diego Amtrak to beat the 405 traffic and give them an experience of Black Los Angeles history at this historic place. Not only the history but the tasty food that we ate was all that and more. A great place for a plate of a meal. After the delicious food, we continue our black experience and walked our food at Sister Dreamers exhibit on 76th and Western Ave. Peace and hairgrease J
