I live abroad but am from LA and wanted to send donuts to dear friends upon the passing of a beloved colleague. Delicious Donuts associate Patricia helped me with my order and even went out of her way to place my note of condolences onto a card to be delivered with the donuts. We had a bit of a hiccup and had to redo the whole thing a couple of days later. Patricia gladly facilitated this a second time. Her communication with me was prompt, polite, and supportive--truly excellent service and a real comfort to those of us who are grieving this loss.

Just think of this place as more of a take-out window, and you'll have your expectations right where they need to be. Delicious Donuts is a classic L.A. donut shop experience. Get your over-sized chocolate covered Bavarian cream, a mediocre coffee, and a lotto ticket, and everything is right in the world. The bear claws are filled with apple rather than almond marzipan, which is a welcomed surprise for me.
