On Saturday, August 30th, my mother and I had lunch at Denny’s on Century Boulevard. We were assisted by a waitress named Sophie, who provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. She greeted us with a warm smile, remained attentive to our needs, and ensured that nothing was missed during our dining experience.
Sophie also took the time to explain the Denny’s rewards program in detail. She guided me step by step through the process of downloading the app and signing up, and she informed us that, upon registering, we would receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert. Her explanation was clear, patient, and very helpful.
Additionally, Sophie was quick to assist when we requested items to go, handling everything efficiently and with genuine kindness. Her attentiveness, reliability, and consistently positive attitude truly stood out.
I sincerely appreciate the excellent service Sophie provided—she is an asset to your team and, in my opinion, one of the best.

I came to Dennys for a late Slam. I usually don’t eat Denny’s twice a week but the first time was so delicious I had to go back. Shortly after the restaurant had a big party, multiple to-go orders and many filled tables. I sat in a corner booth watching my superstar server Chang handle the rush with poise and just as quick as they came, they left full🙂

We came in late night Wednesday. I had a project deadline to crush out. So I whipped out my MacBook and got to it. All of a sudden the place got slammed! I think a flight arrived from China because about 16 elderly that spoke very little English piled in. They were seated in my section. I was actually entertained watching Chang handle the situation. He was the only server on staff. And it was busy on the other side of the diner as well. He had them in and out in about 45 minutes. The entire diner was settled and calm within an hour. He was great. It was like Joe Clark cleaning up East Side High. Go Chang!
