I visited this place for the first time with my family and friends during an event I was invited to. The venue is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and top-level artists.
Unfortunately, my experience was negatively affected by the man serving the tacos. He had a rude and bad-tempered attitude from the start, and at one point, he even yelled at me for no apparent reason. When I asked him why he was shouting, he continued with the same behavior.
I decided to give the place a second chance, but sadly, the same man is still there mistreating customers.
To be fair, the rest of the staff was very kind and professional. I truly hope the management addresses this, as the place has great potential—but this kind of treatment can completely ruin the experience.

We were staying at the Hollywood Volume Hotel and the Desert 5 Spot is on the hotel’s top floor. A great scene and live music venue. A Nashville-esque oasis smack dab in Hollywood with line dancing, outdoor roof lounge and a great DJ who played in between the live bands. So Fun!

It was my first visit to the USA, and spending a night at Desert 5 Spot made it absolutely unforgettable! 🌵🤠 The atmosphere was full of energy — great people, amazing vibes, and the most fun country music! We danced, sang, and truly felt the spirit of Los Angeles.
I loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Desert 5 Spot is the perfect mix of fun, music, and authentic American charm! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting LA! 🎶✨

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Wouldn't go back there if the drinks were free. Went to try to get info on booking venue for a private event. Spoke to the Manager Lisa. I should say, attempted to speak with Lisa, who was so RUDE, ARROGANT & UNPROFESSIONAL. This bar won't be there 5 years from now.

Super fun bar with great atmosphere, drinks, and a great crowd. We're not big country fans but we do love the live band. They do a mix of traditional country songs and classic rock covers, and there's some mainstream pop they play over the speakers when the band takes a break. The first time we went, we got there about 9pm and there was no line. The second time, we got there around 10pm and the line was pretty long but moved fairly quickly. We were in the bar after maybe 25-30 minutes.
I love this spot! It’s always a hit!! Great music, fun vibes and the line dancing is unmatched!

We did not have a good experience here. The entrance and interior were nicely decorated, but the staff were not friendly. The food was very poor, and even the cook seemed unfriendly. We were really looking forward to spending the evening here, but left early after just one drink and some tacos. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this place.
