The food, wine, ambience, and noise level. We're all appreciated. We had a wonderful meal and our entire group enjoyed the company and the visit by the chef.
What a gem! This has to be one of my favorite places in the city. Anytime we have guests, we take them here. I’ve only had exceptional experiences at Divino’s. The food, the staff… just top notch 🤌🤌🤌
Terrible service
Nice tomato soup with burrata. Ok tiger shrimp salad ... Lacked oomph and shrimp texture mediocre. Nice warm fresh bread. Good cappuccino. Shared salad and soup and $39 later, gotta wonder about whether this nice ok meal in a pleasant white tablecloth restaurant with attentive service was worth it.
Great place food is excellent service is also great
Great food and all the people working are super nice. Can't wait to go back. it is noisy downstairs during prime dinner time.
Food was DIVINE. I had a special, pasta with sausage and bright green sauce. Everything at my table walls great.
My only surprise was how sparse the environment was. They didn't spend much effort fixing up the place. It wasn't shabby but it didn't reflect the quality of the food.
And it was quite expensive, but that reflects the clientele in this 'hood.
Our first dinner at Divino was excellent. Seated in the front room, the atmosphere and food were excellent. On Valentine’s Day 2025 it was very different. Seated upstairs with cramped tables, too few wait staff, the food was not good, we couldn’t get a waiter to tend to us and we were treated like a number. Probably won’t go back
We had a 7:15 reservation. 2of our party arrived on time, 2 were a few minutes late due to parking difficulties. We were not seated until 8:00....too long a wait! Owners were apologetic and gave us some freebies...but not worth such a wait!
I absolutely enjoyed my shrimp and calamari pasta. It was freshly made and it was a good portion. Staff is super nice and friendly. Great spot!

Honestly one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. The staff is amazing, the food was specular, and Goran (the owner) made our night. This is a must try restaurant that will always be on my list!
Divino is iconic. My family has been earting here for most of my adult life. What strikes me is the consistency--in food, service, and atmosphere. Goran and his beautiful wife, and their well trained and long tenured team preside over their restaurant with old world charm. Goran himself is not only a world class chef but the best door man in the business. He'll charm the pants off you! Bravo!
Another delicious dining experience at Divino, with owner Goran managing the kitchen and his wife welcoming us as the appreciative hostess. The crostini and the seafood linguine were delicious as was the Mediterranean styled swordfish. And it's impossible to go wrong with the chocolate mousse to cap a wonderful meal. Easy to recommend.
Authentic Italian restaurant with a lovely/cozy interior and amazing service. The food is so fresh and excellent, and they have a great wine selection as well. Particularly love their seafood linguine, bolognese, fusilli, risotto, and pollo fantastico. You can find paid parking at the VA lot nearby (walking distance).
With so few tables sometimes I feel like they are rushing you a little. Food comes out real fast a little too fast. It's all delicious.
