Every time I go to Divino, I'm amazed at how consistent their service and food are - outstanding and warm. This is literally a gem in LA, and on the West Coast! Thank you to Goran and his team for their passion and great work!
My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is always excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. This time we had the beet burrata cheese salad, margherita pizza, and beet pasta. It was my first time trying beet pasta, and it was amazing — beautifully prepared with a rich, earthy flavor and perfect texture. The beet salad was also fresh and delicious, and the pizza had that classic, authentic Italian taste we always enjoy.
Had lunch with a friend here for the first time earlier in the week. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner of a mini-mall on Barrington Court and the closest parking allows just one hour, so if you wish a longer leisurely lunch you have to keep feeding the meter. While the restaurant was small and intimate, and the waitstaff very attentive, the biggest disappointment was the food quality and value. It is hard to imagine where the restaurant's high ratings come from. My friend and I shared an Insalata di Pollo and a Capricciosa pizza. The pizza, priced at $29 was decent but nothing special. The Westside has many great pizza options offering quality ingredients at the same or a lesser price point. The real disappointment was the salad; a medium- sized plate arrived with some scattered greens, a few tomato slices, a few small pieces of OK mozzarella and a small sliced chicken breast, covered with a few drizzles of balsamic dressing. Even by Brentwood pricing, $36 for this salad was eye-opening. Yes, food and restaurant costs have gone up, but there is a difference between a customer feeling they've received good value for the money they've spent, versus feeling ripped off.
We had a fabulous dinner at Divino. The dinning area was crowded bt 7pm, but remained at a nice noise level and with great atmosphere. The servicer was spot on, we were asked about type of water prefered and drinks right away. No sooner did the drinks arrive that the nightly specials were explaind. No pressure, just effciency. We were then given plenty of time to enjoy our drinks and contemplate our order. Our starters arrived well presented and in my case the Minestrone soup was hot and delicious. My partner's salad was equally as good. For our entres we had the Swordfish special and Gnocci. Absolutly fabulous! For dessert we shared the Chocolate mousse which was light and full of chocolate flavor. We look forward to our next Davino dinning adventure.
From top to bottom, this place remains a true gem to the community! Thank you, Goran, for being the consummate host and providing the quintessential birthday celebration for my 31 year old daughter, Arielle. I am fortunate to have gone back so many years with you in service to your incredible place of business. You have been blessed with the gift of hospitality, which is quite rare in this day and age. Thank you to you and your team of amazing people and cheers to another 31 years! May God Continue to Bless you, your family and your business richly. Your friend forever, Ziva
Divino is probably the best restaurant in Los Angeles. The food is always superb. The friendly staff and owners make the dining a special experience . I wish them continues success. A real neighborhood gem.
I had lunch there 3 months ago and it was superb : the food, the service, the atmosphere. Last night, I had dinner and it was a horrible experience. The menu was too short on entrees, too long on pasta. The branzino was a sad looking 2 pieces o frozen fish. My Pizza Margherita was not as good as Domino's, A roast chicken looked and tasted OK. The prices for such mediocre food was truly unreal. The service was abominable. The waitress paid no attention whatsoever to what we ordered. At one point she served me an unwanted refill of plain water over my half-glass of Pellegrino, that was after pouring red wine on the table rather than on my glass. I am so sorry: the place is charming, well lit and quiet but I will never return there.
There is no better food, service or atmosphere than Divino's. This restaurant is exceptional and the pride of Brentwood.
A wonderful birthday lunch. The chef/owner was lovely, the food was awesome. We had the burrata with market tomatoes, Sardinia pizza, porcini gnocchi and a bottle of wine. We enjoyed our leisurely lunch and will be back for a visit soon.
Best pasta ever! I went to Italy and still like this more

The food, wine, ambience, and noise level. We're all appreciated. We had a wonderful meal and our entire group enjoyed the company and the visit by the chef.
What a gem! This has to be one of my favorite places in the city. Anytime we have guests, we take them here. I’ve only had exceptional experiences at Divino’s. The food, the staff… just top notch 🤌🤌🤌
