I love chilaquiles and the chilaquiles Verde are THE BEST I've ever had! I The 2nd time I got them I requested rice rather than frijoles because I don't eat meat. Señora offered pinto beans instead. Perfect!!!! The 3rd time I asked for them with the pinto beans and she asked if I'd like to try them family style where the beans, eggs, and chilaquiles are all mixed together. I said "Yes" and from there my obsession with El Palenque's chilaquiles was solidified!!!!! Now, when I get my craving, or when my husband and I want to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast, there's one place to go. He eats other things too, but I'm a purist. He likes his with carne asada on top. It's not on the menu but you can ask for it. The restaurant is very simple in atmosphere. New owners. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Food is trash. And the agua de horchata is the powder packet you get from a local grocery store. I had orange juice and it literally tasted the same as the Tampico 2.99 gallon. The chilaquiles are legit toasted tortillas you get already pre-made in triangles. The beans are from a can . The salsa was ok. PLEASE DONT COME HERE. I was such a fan but I feel scammed.

I found my new go-to spot! I ordered the pozole verde with everything. Comes with cabbage, onions, and avocado on top. There's BACON in the pozole, mind blowing and takes the flavor to the next level! You get salsa, limes, crema and tostadas on the side. I got sopes to-go (asada & al pastor) and they were enormous and filled to the brim with meat and all the toppings. One sope filled the entire to go box. Don't forget to try the banana water, so tasty. Exceptional service and food. Thank you, I'll be back again soon.

This mom&pop shop is amazing!!!!! Their food is so BOMB! I have ordered their wet burritos, their sopes, their chilaquiles.. and a lot more. They are so friendly and I definitely recommend this place! I work nearby and they gladly delivered to my job a few times when I didn't have time to leave my office. So convenient.

VERY disappointed. I went in and the chef was NOT wearing a mask! I only saw ONE employee with a mask! There was someone coughing in the kitchen! HIGH RISK! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Very good Fresh and made to order. Chili relleno was fantastic. I would recommend. Not open for dinner is the only drawback. Open bfast and lunch to late afternoon

Not sure of the region of this style of cooking in Mexico ,but the Carnitas Gorditas were flavorful & tender . The gordita was fried and topped with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, the salsa was a added flavor. I was in the area for work so next time I'll give something else a try.

First time trying out this place. It's so conveniently close to us. The food is delicious, the portions are big. It served 4 of our family members.. We got the chaquiles, pancakes, and chorizo & potatoes platters. Along with breakfast burrito. Will definitely order from here regularly. Our family agreed the taste and flavors did not disappoint.

Food which I received was delicious, but unfortunately they forgot to deliver all my items of food which I ordered. Thus not everyone in my party got to eat. Called their restaurant several times but no answer. Had to call Grubb Hub to get my refund and order food from somewhere else. If they would of deliver all my food I would of rate them 5 stars.
