Never had a better doughnut! Tracy is the person who served me today, she was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, very friendly, and personable. I’ve never been to a doughnut shop with such variety of flavors! The passionfruit was my favorite, I love how tangy it was. If you like sour, you’ll love this one, as well as the lemon one. The apple fritter is a classic and they did it justice. My second favorite is tied with the strawberry cream chocolate glaze or the cinnamon crunch topped one. The cinnamon crunch was a bit sweet so definitely have it with a black coffee. The whipped cream is not as sweet as you might imagine, but for me, I love the subtle sweetness paired with the chocolate and strawberry. My least favorite was the matcha doughnut, but if you love matcha, you’ll probably love the bitterness of it. It may have suited me better if it had been glazed first, and the matcha was more of a ganache. Totally recommend

Incredible! Probably best donuts I’ve ever had 😍

My coworkers and I were very skeptical initially because of the raging reviews and seemingly fake and inflated rating…but lo and behold, we tried King Puff donut and wow.

We were wrong. 5/5. Super creamy, puffy, doughy, without being overpoweringly sweet and “up your face.”

You can actually taste the doughy-ness of the donut, and freshness of the cream. We did not believe it was worth 4.8 stars with over 800 reviews, but Donut Friend is worthy!

Bananaversary donut is outta this world!!! It is seasonal so get it while it’s still around. I’d post a picture but it pretty much evaporated as soon as I got it 😋

Donut Friend DTLA is a total game-changer for donut lovers. These aren’t your average donuts—they’re creative, gourmet, and loaded with unique flavors that actually work. Whether you’re into classic glazed or adventurous combos like their punk rock-inspired creations, every bite feels like a treat worth savoring.

The shop itself has a cool, artsy vibe that matches the Downtown LA energy. Staff are super friendly and patient, especially when you’re stuck trying to pick from so many amazing options. I also appreciate that they have plenty of vegan-friendly choices that taste just as good as the regular ones.

We were traveling from Washington State, this donut shop was the best we have ever had. We first saw it when were looking for a place to have lunch and they had a semi long line late in the afternoon. We decided to come back the next morning, which was a Sunday morning. Right after we got our order, the line was getting ling again, but I can see why. This is a very popular place with the locals and I see why.
