I had the Memphis burger with a side of Mac & cheese. The burger was topped with bbq shredded "pork", onion rings, melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It was a terrific balance, though I would have liked the bbq to have more tang to it. The mac & cheese was gooey stove-top style, was a great compliment between bites of the burger, and it was a generous portion. They've even got a freestyle soda machine, so I got an orange mello-yello zero. I know it doesn't cancel out the calories I just consumed, I'm just not trying to pile on extra. 😉 My only complaint is that it was pretty expensive, about $25 for my meal. Yikes! I plan on coming back to explore the rest of their tasty looking menu! 😋 Updated from previous review on 2025-10-02

We got the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and chili cheese fries. Everything was really good. The fried chicken had an excellent breading and texture. The food was super heavy so I ended up peeling off the breading even though it was tasty. The portions are gigantic.

This is a must visit for any vegan in the area. They make their own cheese sauce, and it’s the best I’ve had in years. They also make their own ranch, which is so good, they sell it by the bottle

Right next door to Doomies NextMexis this gem. Perfect for the late night munchies or if you are in need of some comfort food. I love the serving sizes and being able to customize your order to how you like it. I like They have a big variety of vegan cakes to choose from, as well as being able to order a cake for a celebration or whatever. The staff are friendly, and the vibe is chill. On the weekends, they are open 24 hours, which is perfect if you need some food to soak things up or eat something down. I love the breakfast menu on the weekends, and the regular menu during the week is fire, too. Everything I have had there has been delicious.
Most recently, I got the Mighty Cristo, and it was legit fire. A perfect blend of sweet and savory. 👌 I think the only thing that may be able to take it to the next level is to add a chicken patty or even a spicy chicken patty. 👌👌
Update: I came back and got some chili cheeze tots with a Bantha shake. They were fire. The Bantha shake really does taste like blue raspberry. I got the Big D, and it's good.

Incredibly expensive, although maybe thats to be expected for vegan food in a big city. Not the best vegan chicken I've had, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were okay. Fries were very bland. They make you pay for every sauce individually, I ordered 6 total (3 for me 3 for someone else) and they only gave us 4. Also the server placed my overpirced shake on the edge of my tray, and it rolled off and fell when i tried to set the tray down, and the server refused to give me another or refund it even though I never even got to taste it. Not worth.

Doomie’s is the fast food option you want as a vegan! The burger hits the spot - the only vegan cheeseburger I crave!! The peanut butter brownie is so filling you’ll have to eat it in 3-4 sittings, as is the chocolate cake. I had to buy a bottle of the ranch as it’s so good on the fried chicken (oh the chicken is yummy too, it has a skin!) and I put it on potato salads and green salads and deep fried stuff at home too. The chocolate milkshake is that classic syrup tasting one, which I don’t like. The croissant is buttery and satisfying if you’re craving that too! I order here often and it delivers fast!! 😋

Just moved close by and decided to give it a try. I think they will know me very well very soon, because now I wanna try the whole menu. Pulled pork mac and cheese sandwich and fried chicken were absolutely delicious. This has to be the best vegan spot I've tried in LA so far

The burgers were delicious and the shakes will make you need to lie down for a bit (maybe because I also had wings as well). Even the pb&j burger was great You can skip the chicken and go straight for the nachos next door as well.

Every vegan partier’s dream. Thank GOD for Doomies. Also the fried “chicken” hits the spot and even has elements that mimic the real fried chicken experience like the fatty parts. The shakes are delicious, cakes are delicious, it’s 4am and it’s a party at Doomies 10/10 man I love being vegan in 2025

I have been eating whole food plant based the last few months so this was definitely a cheat meal. You won’t find health food in the menu. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious if not a little salty. The animal style tater tots were really good, highly recommend. The cooler behind the counter seemed well stocked with cakes and desserts, will have to try next time.
