I have been eating whole food plant based the last few months so this was definitely a cheat meal. You won’t find health food in the menu. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious if not a little salty. The animal style tater tots were really good, highly recommend. The cooler behind the counter seemed well stocked with cakes and desserts, will have to try next time.
I loved this spot, the food is so good even my non vegan husband loves it ,
doomies is absolutely incredible !!!!!!! from comfort food, to desserts galore, i love how fun their menu is!! and it tastes amazing!!!!!!!!!
The best restaurant in LA. They have great variety. I ate here ALL THE TIME.
I love how they’re open 24 hours on the weekends. This is my post-event/concert/club spot. Always hits the spot! There’s a secret menu too - if you can figure out how to find it!
The food is great. I really really really wish they hadn't taken away their breakfast menu. At least the breakfast burritos, I loved them. They were fat and filling. Too bad they don't have breakfast anymore😔

Went here on my way home from work to try it for a second time ( because the first was so good) and man was it great. I had the Mac and cheese Tex melt and a salted Carmel shake and it was DELICIOUS. It’s a must try!!!
I had an absolutely terrible experience at Doomies that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. From start to finish, it was a complete mess. First, they got my order completely wrong — not just a small mistake, but the entire order was incorrect. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking accountability and fixing it promptly, I was made to wait for what felt like an eternity. No updates, no apologies, just a lot of unprofessional behavior from the staff.
What made it worse was the lack of urgency or basic customer service. Employees were either standing around, talking to each other, or moving with no sense of direction. It was clear they didn’t value my time or my business. I tried to be patient, but after waiting far too long, I realized they had no intention of making things right quickly.
This experience was beyond frustrating, and it’s clear that management needs to train their staff on professionalism, customer service, and how to handle mistakes. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters just as much. Doomies failed on all fronts. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.

Fries were super salty. Mac and cheese was average. Fried chicken was still a bit wet inside (like raw batter).. French toast was soggy and bland, and the side of ‘eggs was inedible - not even sure what they were made of to be honest. Espresso mousse cake was nice enough but didn’t taste of coffee at all. Also, floors and tables were dirty and the place smelled a bit. We visited here in 2019 and had good memories but unfortunately after this visit I would no longer recommend. Quite frankly disappointed with my visit to Doomie's. While it's whole schtick is stoner vegan food, they don't do a good job of it as most things were served cold or overly salted. The shrimp po boy sandwich was inedible because of how hard the bread was and cold the fried shrimp was. The only brightside were the chili cheese fries but that isn't hard to mess up.
Walked alone at night on an empty stomach because they fail to advertise online that they refuse cash. Said Thanx 4 nothing on my way out.

Food is great. It’s junk food and usually pretty salty but it’s good when I want that comfort food as a vegan.
However, the decor is cheap and low quality. The service is awful. Expect 20 minutes past estimated time even with online pre orders. Expect wrong orders, never leave without checking your food.
Pre pandemic when it was full service I came once a week. Now with how bad the service and lack of ambiance I at most come twice a year.

Friendly service but the food, while tasty, was so greasy and the atmosphere was depressing.
Doomie’s is the place for comfort food, and their fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had.
