Yall be playing with the online orders like why accept the order then cancel it. And this is about the third time yall done this.

I came home to visit relatives and treated my aunts to their food, because I would go there once a week to eat. I ranted and raved to my aunts about how good the was.

I had the food delivered and used their preferred delivery service, which ended up to be Door Dash, and was excited to get the food. The food looked like it day old that had been reheated, and the catfish was overcooked and salty. Also, the cornbread and lemon cake were dry. Needless to say, my aunts didn't enjoy the meal.

I called the restaurant to complain (I paid close to $140 for three dinners), and the co-owner told me that she was appalled that I would accuse them of serving day old food. She said that the delivery guy was there and she didn't want them to wait, so she gave me food from the bottom of the barrel.

She had a bad attitude and accused me of trying to get food for free. They only refunded me $22, and $17.99 was for the catfish because they were training a new on cooking the catfish. I'm never going back there again, or referring people to them.

The co-owner is very sneaky, she viewed my LinkedIn profile after I complained about their food.

I’m very big on respect and customer service.. I simply walked in ringed the little bell to let them know I was there. The guy came from the back.. I said hello how are you? I’m new here.. what’s the deals ..what do y’all have going …The guy looked me dead in my face and said, There goes the bored.. pointing to a chalkboard like menu that is not even clear ..I said excuse me I’m new here. You can’t tell me your specials. I was done.. My dude got a plate but I was cool.. First impressions at a restaurant is a must ..

My first time there was not pleasant by any means. Wendy was called from the back to handle the person in front of me with some discrepancy, and she didn’t do it professionally. I told her it was my first time and had a few questions. There is a giant chalkboard menu on the wall, which includes the prices. As I order my food, I see price discrepancies at the register. I twice brought this to her attention. She told me that the menu prices change daily and that the price on the menu board may not be accurate, so I have to check online (WHAT????) Why is there a menu board? She breaks down the price, but it still doesn't add up. The seafood combo is $21.95. I was charged $26.90, and she said the base price was $21.95. It was $1 extra for the mac and cheese side upgrade and $1.25 to BBQ the salmon and shrimp. (keep in mind this is a BBQ spot, and all they did was add BBQ sauce on top of both) that still didn't add up to $26.90. She got up and walked to the back. It was so hot there that I had to walk outside to avoid passing out. When I returned to get my food, the older gentleman said Wendy wanted to give me a cold beverage or a dessert. Wendy comes from the back and says sarcastically you can have a drink, dessert, or your $2. I’m on a conference call. I went to the spot because a friend of mine spoke about how good it was. It was a black business; he knew the owner, so I wanted to try and support it. Never again!!!! Customer Service is horrible!!!! The nerve of Wendy to overcharge not address the fact she made a mistake and not correct the problem and tried to rectify the situation in a better manner lost my business. Customer service is essential at any establishment, and she has NONE!!!! The owner needs to get her some customer service training.
The BBQ salmon was good, but the shrimp was burnt. The chicken andouille link and BBQ beans were cool. The potato salad was a little sweet. The mac' n cheese was okay. The cornbread was dry on the outside and moist on the inside.

**Again, customer service is essential in any business. It's Wendy replying, but your lies make it much more shameful. You could at least tell the entire truth.
I can’t even read your reply because the first few lies got me smh….
I remember everything that occurred and what was said. You never said you were on a conference call until I returned to get my food. When I walked up, nothing related to your discrepancy with the previous customer (although I heard it all) should have been the first thing out of your mouth to me. I disregarded your unprofessionalism and still placed an order. If you have cameras with video and audio, please share them. It would eliminate that back-and-forth. You never once asked if I wanted a dessert or a beverage with my order, lol. You didn't ask me that question until I walked back in to pick up my food after the gentleman said Wendy wanted me to ask if you wanted a cold beverage or a dessert. (which was to make up for you overcharging me)
($21.95 base meal + $1.00 mac up charge + $1.25 for BBQ sauce will never equal $26.90) where would I get the prices on the board changed every day? You brought it up to try and justify why what was on the board was not the same as what was in the register. How do I know about an online lol?
Even if the prices changed daily, it’s a chalkboard. Erase them and change them. (idea)
Wendy, you need some customer service training because you will be why customers don’t return, and you should not reply to customer reviews.
You made a mistake. You were sarcastic about overcharging me, and you still don’t get it.

Let me start here because this bald man who works here is very sassy I don’t like the fact that everytime me and my friend come here he literally acts weird customer service is always a zero he messed up on our food one time and every since he has had this personal vendetta against my friend fr not really with me bt we are one so today he literally made her DINNER plate like a kid was eating it and made mine with more (43$ total) didn’t show us our food like any other time because he knew what he was doing DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT ESPECIALLY IF HES THERE HORRIBLE ATTITUDE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TO BE THAT GROWN AND BE PLAYING IN PPL FACE WITH A BUSINESS THAT DOESNT BELONG TO YOU IS WILD HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED BECAUSE AFTER THIS BEST BELIEVE I WILL BE CONTACTING BBB .
