Haven’t been to LA in ages and swore that we’d get lunch at this Californian institution next time we were in town. But we’d become vegetarians between then and now. Still managed to get something good though. Grilled cheese (not the animal one), fries, chocolate milkshake. Had read, as well as watched, reviews so was eager to experience the burgers & the planes. Liked the restaurant and the retro decor. The planes landing were just awesome. The only thing that let it down was the food, I’m sorry to say. My Double Double started off well but became slippery and soggy by the end. The animal-style fries were a congealed mass of dried up melted cheese with an underwhelming sauce and tasteless fried onions. Although that said, I would probably return...read full review

The food was good, but I cam here for coffee, and they said hey ddin't have any. So I was kind of upset, but it's ok cause the buger was good. Very cheesy, I liked it. 9/10 experience, very friendly restuarunt goers and servers :D
