I visited Dune Downtown, the second location of the beloved Dune empire, on a Monday night around 6 pm, and apparently, everyone else had other plans. The place was empty, save for a steady flow of to-go orders reminding me that dining in is a bold, almost vintage choice. For nearly 50 minutes, I was the sole indoor diner, which was equal parts peaceful and mildly awkward. The “Fried Chicken Shawarma” sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever tasted. It delivered on flavor and the chicken was so crispy. The spicy tahini and charmoula add such great notes that distinguishes it from your ordinary chicken sandwich. This is not your ordinary chicken sandwich.. This one is special.!!!!

Food - got the Grilled Chicken Souvlaki sandwich and Steak Fries. Their portions are fairly large, so I was able to take some home and enjoy it again. As mentioned, their feta is amazing.
