So happy I rediscovered Paradocs (thanks to Starbucks being closed one day!). I went once to Paradocs early pandemic and the drip coffee wasn't for me so I didn't go back for a while. I'm so glad I did because when I did, I found "my" go-to Paradocs drink - an americano with steamed milk! Now I go all the time! I'm happy to support an independent business. One guy, Taka, owns and operates it himself. He has it nailed down. I look forward to when indoor dining opens and we can sit inside on the cute vintage chairs. (I should note there are a couple of tables on the sidewalk that are great. Thankful to the city or county for loosening sidewalk dining restrictions. Hope that stays.)

Visited back in late September - I was in the area doing the #localadventurechallenge and needed some serious caffeine - this was the perfect place! For starters, the barista was just awesome - so friendly and knowledgeable! And his recommendation was SPOT ON! So I ended up trying one of the special brews he had going that day - a cup of the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and wowwww!! I have to say it might just be one of the best tasting blends I've ever had! I only added a slight amount of honey and cream (after sampling it straight black) so I could really get a taste for it. Geez it was so good! Not bitter at all - smooth and subtle and complex all at the same time! Absolutely loved it! And the atmosphere inside the shop was just fun - felt so vibrant and different! Would definitely love to come back post-Covid to sit and have a coffee and people watch bc the location rocks! Highly recommend!!

Terrific place, always friendly, quick and easy. The veggie combo is on longer 3.99 now it is 5.99 but still a deal. Great for take out.

My goal is to try every restaurant in Little Ethiopia! I prefer the sit-down places where the food is made to order, but if you're in a hurry this place has ready made food. I got the Veggie Combo for dinner for $5.99 and you get collard greens, steamed cabbage, red lentils, yellow peas served with injera. It was good. The place was alright. The walls are painted orange with some decorations (including the fake roses in a plastic bottle). Not bad. Several hours later and I'm still full.

I live down the street from Little Ethiopia and have been to most of the restaurants. I can say, without a doubt, E & M is the best bang for your buck if you're not looking for much in the way of ambiance. The veggie combo is $3.99 and the meat combo is $5.99 and both are delicious. The food here is so well-priced and on top of that, it's the most flavorful of the restaurants I've tried on Fairfax in Little Ethiopia (including Rosalinde's).

I was roaming around "Little Ethiopia" after vowing not to eat at a generic place. I happened to drive across Little Ethopia on my way to The Grove Shopping area. At least two streets full of eclectic Ethiopian delights. I didn't have much time to sit down for a meal so I quickly ordered something here. Veg Combo $3.99 Meat Combo $5.99 including Injera. (cabbage, beef, lentils) SEE MY PHOTO FOR THE MEAT COMBO. I recommend parking on the side street to avoid metered parking. Looking for a Bay area Ethiopian restaurant? - Try Zenee's in SJ.
