Poor service from bartender ROBERT … he needs to be retrained at his big age to learn how to deal with customers and actually do his job properly. I guess his hearing aide was not working cuz he got an attitude and confusing redbull for monster like what ?! If you’re not in a good mood DONT show up to work to take it out on patrons that wanna have a fun day to decompress from the week. SMH 🤦♂️

So fun and friendly environment. I was travelling solo and had a great time meeting people here. drinks were strong — the bar is cash only but there are ATMs inside to withdraw (for a small fee)

They accept Apple Pay for the entrance but they don’t for the bar. So we didn’t bring our cards and got in, but couldn’t pay for anything inside and had to leave. And they don’t inform about that in the front.

I’ve tried this place several times since living in LA and nearly every time I have an issue at the bar, it’s like I’m invisible. The bartenders will bypass me to wait on the others who are Caucasian, was in this past Sunday to meet up with friends and had the same experience again. I waited at the bar for at least while as the bartender at the corner near the entrance waited on everyone around me, even looked in my direction and bypassed me. Another bartender from the other side of the bar waved us over and helped us. We finished our beers and left and went to WeHo. I have no desire to return to a place where you are unwelcome based on your skin color. That set the tone for the night and reminded me why I never go to the eagle in the first place.
