Pleasant, clean interior with fast service. Fish maw soup had good flavor but maw was leathery tough. Salt and Pepper Squid was overcooked. Scallop Fried Rice was made using rock hard dried scallops, and it almost broke my teeth to eat. I'm not sure the people working here understand Cantonese cooking.
East Garden A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City
Tucked away in a quiet plaza, East Garden delivers comforting Chinese classics with a warm, family run vibe. The sesame chicken is crispy perfection, and the hot & sour soup hits all the right notes. Service is fast, friendly, and refreshingly genuine. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or settling in for a cozy meal, this spot feels like home. Don’t skip the house made chili oil it’s magic.

The restaurant was clean and inviting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. We opted for a mix of dim sum and a lunch special. The shiu mai and beef noodle roll were delicious,...
