Oh jeez. What a sandwich spot. One of the best in the city. You're on the east side? This is the one.I've had the pastrami sandwich and the beef and peppers and whooo boy they were a TREAT.I'm a devotee of Bay Cities, but I will not even pretend that this place doesn't knock my socks off. The service was lovely and quick. The inside gives the vibes of a New York deli. But the experience? Can't be beat. Can't wait to come back again. What's next? I'll flip a coin and see!

Incredible sandwiches and even better customer service. They made us feel at home and served us some of the best Italian deli sandwiches we've ever tasked. We stopped by all the way from Westchester and it was worth the trek. Thank you. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: The owners are very accomodating.

Really great chicken parm sando! Sandwich was a great size for the price and the bread held up nicely for our hike to the Observatory. Would definitely come back if in the area.

I only have one complaint and it's the bread. I wish it was fresh, or better. Their spicy deli cut sandwich is great but their pastrami... don't miss out. Great portions too!Great place to cater from if you want to do sandwiches and some sides.

Phenomenal spot for Italian style sandwiches at a really modest price. Ambiance is very casual and a little basic, but has a classic feel to it.TURKEY & CHEESE - 5 Stars. Everything was extremely fresh and so good! I love the option to add olives and pickles, it completes the sandwich for me. Portion side was generous as well. This is definitely a solid and tasty sandwich ($13.70) Service was good, but I have one complaint... I asked if the bread could be toasted and was told yes, but when I got home I realized the sandwich wasn't toasted. Outside of that, everything was great including easy parking during the day.

This place is not too bad and always wanted to try this place because of TikTok. I got the sausage and meatball sub which was good but messy. The Italian sausage tasted great and authentic along with the meatballs and marinara sauce too. I do think it was better than Bay Cities though so definitely try this place.

I gave a 4 because at today's visit they forgot to make our sandwiches (would have been a 5 except order snafu). Caught it when workers called out order 57. We were a few order numbers behind. However, sandwiches excellent. Also have ate at the Downtown LA which I prefer, but closed on Saturdays.

Absolutely the best Italian deli I’ve ever been to in the United States. The family is wonderful the food is terrific. It is a must if you come to North Vermont store, or the one on alpine and sunset either one are definitely a delight???

My staff members and I were trying to find a place to eat today, and we remembered that we saw this Italian deli on TikTok.There are four of us all together. We got to Italian subs, one pastrami and roast beef, sub, and one meatballs and sausage sub.I’ve been to many Italian delis in my lifetime, and this one doesn’t necessarily scream, Italian deli to me. Does it scream deli absolutely. So, we all tasted each other subs. Let me just say the meatball and sausage marinara sub was the best out of all the subs that we had. The marinara sauce is really good. I was definitely impressed with that. As for the Italian subs, they were definitely dry even with the oil vinegar and mayonnaise that we got on them. The pastrami and roast beef was also a little on the dry side. They do use boars head meat which is the best!Service was a little drab. Needless to say lacking a little bit of congeniality or at least just a smile, because I smiled. Some people really want to know do I judge the food or do I judge the people. Well, I don’t judge anything I give my opinion that’s it. It is what it is.Does this place have a good product? Absolutely. Do I think it could use some improvements absolutely this time though I believe it starts with the staff. Food not so much.No matter I still recommend this deli and I will have a try at it again. Definitely will get the meatball sub.

First off if you haven't tried it you must go here. You will return again and again.I had a review written on the old location and I would like to write a review for this location. It is by far the best Italian you're going to find in Los Angeles and beyond. The gravy is absolutely the best. The meatballs, the sausage, the bread it's just perfect. It's consistent quality food too. And if you ask for extra sauce, expect your whole container to be filled to the brim. They just do it right. The staff is amazing. Yesterday, I was coming back from a very long drive and was craving Eastside deli. So they have parking in the rear and I wish I knew that ahead of time, but I parked on the street. I had my dog with me so I ordered online. I was not pleased with that experience and it had nothing to do with Eastside deli. Convenience fees added on by the app.But here's the cool part.So I went into Eastside and I was carrying my dog in my arms. And I said I had a pickup order and I was hesitant to come in all the way. The guy behind the counter was the coolest and said the nicest thing. "you can bring your dog in here, you have to! It's too hot outside! He can walk in the floor." Omg. Thank you for understanding. Next time I will walk into your business and I will pay at the register so all the money goes your way.But that's the thing with this place, they recognize their customers and you're treated like family. Like family members that you like having around. It's old school mentality. It's a classic business approach and genuine. It works. There's a reason they've been around for so damn long. They're the best that everything that they do including customer service.Besides hot food they also have deli selection meats that you can get cut for you and cheeses. It's all really good food, you'll never be disappointed. In fact you'll always be very pleased and happy and full.Vegetarian options: Sauce, vegetables... Veggie sandwich. I dunno, I am in love with the sausage and meatballs.Parking: Parking in rear. Street paid parking. Free quick pick up parking in front of restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance from sidewalk front and from parking in back.
